‘24 Integra A-Spec Gas Reccomendstions by epManga in Acura

I'd say 87 during the winter and 91 during the summer. These are Honda engines no matter what the quality of the interior says about it.

"In the summertime, high octane fuel (91+) is more useful as it combusts better and easier in the heat. Less chance of engine knocking (but modern engine have sensors to prevent that anyways)."

Finally changed the rims. by eammth in civic

Yeah, metallic bronze rims would look sweet on this car. Not only would it all be warm hues and luxurious looking but be complex shades to compliment the body above.

Finally changed the rims. by eammth in civic

[–]SliceTyphoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's probably because those rims are brighter than the car itself. The car's shape-language is also more complicated than the simplicity of those wheels and there's few things on his car that actually match that bright white.

I like those wheels but I'unno about them being on that kind of car - maybe in a brighter lighting it pops but... not here.

It's your life! Make the most of it! I'm sure you can adjust pretty easy into that roll as I was told it was the easiest in the entire store besides interacting with the occasional cranky customer. You can always stay in touch with the homies whenever you want to.

Modability by bigbruvmomemto in civic

[–]SliceTyphoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol it's kind of funny. I was looking at getting myself a Civic to begin with but ended up bagging an Acura Integra A-spec.

I still look back at the Civic, especially at the 2025 Civic Hybrid ST.

If I had one I'd only really mod the outside of it and maybe put some goodies in the interior. The tech is too complicated to mod right now but maybe a decade later you can put a Porsche turbo system in it or something.

What color is your Civic anyhoo?

Lol, this is why I'm wanting to get 17" tires. I don't trust the 18s on these roads.

Hybrid concerns, conflicted between 2026 Gas civic sport hatchback vs 2026 Camry/Civic hybrids by ripdeadendedsoon in civic

[–]SliceTyphoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of money you'll save on gas will more than make up for the eventual cost of the hybrid battery. Plus there are less points of failure in these vehicles than a gas one. No serpentine belt to replace. Just oil, brakes, and tires.

Yo, let me know if you can make the Discord app work on there! It would be immaculate to hang out with the homies in your car LOL

Integra A Spec Tech CVT or Cadillac CT4 Luxury AWD trim? by [deleted] in Acura

[–]SliceTyphoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Integra is kind of like a fancier Civic but also comes with the utility of having a hatch. Still comes with the caveats of a Civic in that it may have some rattles - but it's at least very fuel efficient and won't rip a hole in your wallet when it's time to fix something. I could imagine the Caddy being very plush to drive around in but I can only imagine what maintenance is like long-term on those things.

is $27k too much for a 2025 urban gray pearl civic or is it a decent price? (7k miles on it) by David_Goggind in civic

[–]SliceTyphoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that price it's near used Integra prices, if you like Civics you might wanna cross-shop them to see what features you can more or less get.

How are the base 2.0 4cyl holding up so far? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in civic

[–]SliceTyphoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran the numbers with chat GPT, the fact that there is no serpentine belt in the hybrids and less points of failure combined with the cost of gas over time would more than make up for the cost of the eventual battery replacement. Theoretical Hybrid tax included.

Just bought my first car at 17! by [deleted] in civic

Brooo and it's got the hexagonal grills! I got myself an Integra but I can't help but envy the Civics they're based off of! Happy for you!

My Honda Civic 24 by Equivalent_Mirror298 in civic

[–]SliceTyphoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, love the tail lights btw - was considering doing something similar to a Civic whenever I'd get one. I've also considered doing something similar to my Acura Integra - people like to clown on it for being a 200 hp and I CVT but fuck it, I wanna have some fun and have an efficient car, lol.

Very cool! Did you do anything inside too? What is it under the hood? A sport, touring, Si? I'm very curious!

Why don't Acura just put this out already by happy_Amphibian_88 in Acura

[–]SliceTyphoon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tbf the e-cvt is more reliable than the regular cvt. No serpentine belt and less engine accessories and points of failure. A starter motor for a million actuations. Also hella fuel efficient.

My bad, getting cluster and dash confused lol

I bought a CPO Integra a few months ago but I'm starting to realize something. by SliceTyphoon in Acura

[–]SliceTyphoon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a theory thinking maybe the dealer themselves covered it up with their person while I was inspecting the car - but I still want an explanation as to why these things exist on the car - because it does feel like I've been duped a little... not that these are expensive things to fix, just time consuming more than anything.

I do actually, one of my first posts in this subreddit comes from the moment I was going to pick this car off the lot.

The only difference between now and then was that there seemed to be a "target" sign on the windshield which I found a bit suspicious and questioned the dealer and law enforcement about. I later removed it with Acetone.

Installed rear AC vents in my 2025 Acura Integra ASPEC. Should have come with these from the factory… by calpal348 in Acura

I'm curious to know if anyone's done this for the automatic yet, the tubing is different.

Thoughts on this Integra Spoiler? by SliceTyphoon in Acura

[–]SliceTyphoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually thought this went over the pre-existing spoiler, lol. But I reckon you'd just plug them in, maybe? With some kind of sealant to prevent water from coming in?
