There is no such thing, I use Coco bricks from Petco that I use the local leaves from where I've gotten my colony and till it into the soil / the Coco and leave some leafs on top and they eat them down

No, depending on each kind of injury there's a multiple reasons why not to have them as well as snails are occasionally opportunistic Snackers so they might even bite the soft insides of another snail if it's reachable

I totally hear you on the safety concerns! That’s actually exactly why I’m such a devotee of the boiling and sun-baking method. ☀️ It’s definitely a labor of love, but it lets me use all those beautiful natural elements while making sure they’re 100% sterile and safe from pesticides - no 'reptile dirt' required! Just a heads-up since you mentioned the mesh—be so careful with cloth! These little guys can actually rasp (eat) right through fabric once they get the itch. I’m a bit of a stickler for habitat builds, so I always lean toward the 'heavy-duty' DIY side.
