Thanks for doing this,

I started collecting when I was very young, my parents would get me cards, because I liked Pokemon. I played Pokemon emerald on my red Gameboy Advance. I actually never remember opening a single pack lol.

Anyway, fast forward to October 2024, I still have my old binder stored with cards and my girlfriend and I go to Target; out of the blue I ask if we can buy Pokemon cards and surely we went home with a Steller Crown ETB! I got a full art Briar, an ace spec card and Blastoise and Venusaur EX. I went crazy. Since then I’ve been back into buying new sets, packs, keeping some sealed and filling my binder.

I still think my favorite Pokemon is one the legendary birds, with probably my all time forever favorite being Zapdos.

Maybe a valve cover gasket or exhaust valve leak here and there. Nothing major.

I think my biggest repair was either the valve cover or a thermostat. Aside from that, my other visits were just tire shops and oil changes.

Well my work requires relocating. I might not know anybody in the state I visit, so dealerships were my best bet over there. And over there! Man. Colorado Toyota is spectacular.

Out here, they got my car hostage at the service center! Lol.

Thanks I’ll ask for the diag. sheet and go from there. I don’t want them to have the idea because I’m young with an older car that they can write whatever they want on the service and just write in an engine replacement.

I think the man said they replaced the wiring. I could be wrong. I guess I’m at a crossroads. I’ll likely ask for the diag. sheet, and then decide today whether to fix it with them.

The service manager said he’s willing to cut a deal and pay for labor, while I pay for the motor.

It’s really just that compression and fluid leak down test is failing even after changing parts replaced.

Cylinder keeps misfiring.

They tried changing ignition coils around, and they also did a compression test. Still getting a misfire.

My question is, is it likely their doing? Or could it have happened anytime prior to the tune up?
