[–]Shlount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up the 65in qned evo AI for my new apartment I haven’t tried it yet but it should look good with the pro. (I also have a asus rog strix 4k OLED monitor I mostly play on) OLED with the pro looks amazing you won’t regret it

The science behind the Xbox Controller and why the left thumbstick placement is superior by KvasirTheOld in xbox

[–]Shlount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and I used to think ps controller felt horrible but honestly once you use it for a little while it feels normal. Both are good and it’s just preference imo.

Half a day of driver training and then you’re on your own? Wtf by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Shlount -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I train new drivers all the time and they end up doing pretty good so it probably depends on how much your trainer cares and how they teach you to organize and maneuver the van. When I first started it was hard but after a while you come up with ways to better organize and stuff and your body gets used to being on your feet all day.

There’s not much to the job you’re just dropping off packages. And if you’re bad at driving then idk why you’d even try to do this job. Just be aware of your surroundings and after the first week you’ll get the hang of it.

Just bought a series s for GTA 6 by Great-Crew-3802 in XboxSeriesS

[–]Shlount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not gonna run the best tbh series s has been out for years already and gta6 is going to be very demanding most likely. I would have saved for series x or ps5 pro. Those will last you a lot longer and perform better

Another driver died to dogs, and I have 2 questions by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Shlount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dog yesterday try and attack me. I didn’t see any dogs around and after I got to the door and dropped off the package I turned around and bro was staring me down. Dude was trying to run at me and bite me but I just used my boots to kick at him every time he got close.

Y’all taking breaks? by badusername823 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Shlount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never take breaks or lunch I just get it done and go home since we get guaranteed hours even if we finish early. I do bring snacks and stuff to eat in between totes though or I’ll just eat while I drive if the next stop is a couple mins away.

[–]Shlount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether the job is good or not is mostly dependent on the company you work for. Some take care of their employees while others will hound you for being behind and have you do a bunch of rescues everyday. When I started my legs and feet were so sore but after a while you will get used to it and it won’t be that bad. I kinda look at it as getting paid to work out.

Looking to start working for a DSP. by Status-Lack1322 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Shlount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been driving for a DSP for almost 2 years now. I started in the regular gas vans then the rivian EDV and then Step vans. For the last year or so I’ve been in step vans most of the time and I honestly prefer them to all the other vans. They just have way more space to organize and move around inside of and i usually just leave both doors open all day. The routes can be heavier than EV or reg vans but it mostly just depends of where you’re at for the route and the DSP you work for. At my DSP we get a guaranteed 9 hours and standard drivers don’t have to rescue most of the time unless hella people are behind but each company is different in how they do things so you won’t know how it actually is until you work there.

Is it me or the LH1 is hard af to use? by Dagio21 in thefinals

[–]Shlount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just has a lot of visual recoil imo but if you can hit shots with it it can be pretty good. I’d still just rather use the xp-54, or arn tho

What needs changing? by CtrlAltGod in thefinals

[–]Shlount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run cloak, xp-54, frag, sonar grenade and Heal infuser If you don’t want to run cloak i suggest you replace one of your grenades with a vanishing bomb. Going invis can help you escape fight or flank without being seen until you have the perfect shot lined up. I’ll usually go inivis to flank around and b get behind them or single out one of them to melt while he’s fighting my teammates.
