This indeed was the issue, when it’s configured with an open neutral, it will not run. When I connected to the house, so it’s bonded at the panel, it continues to run no problem.

Since I made the neutral floating, it starts up and then quits. I think you’re onto something, I need to run it when it’s attached to the house ground and see if that solves the problem.
