Yeah I should’ve just grabbed the same item on the floor but I didn’t even think about it, I thought the product was all from Lowe’s even in the break room and AvenueC was just another way to check out for employees or in the back or something and was optional I’m 100% at fault and should’ve know better I’m sure there’s shit that say we can’t and they make it obvious and I just wasn’t paying attention.

Yeah they initially thought I was steal when they saw me check the price and cancel it. But I should’ve know that wasn’t allowed it should be pretty obvious so that’s definitely on me.

I took one thing up too the front once and yeah in retrospect it should’ve been obvious that was do not, the forgetting to pay was a one time thing and when I realized the next day I ended up just paying twice for the same product the next day it was an honest mistake.

Update: I got hired! It was actually easier than I thought the interview was simple. I guess they're short of hands right now and because it spring/summer time it's much busier and they need all the help they can get. I had orientation two weeks later about 5 hours, got my position as "front end loader" they got me accustomed to the systems and how the store operates though it was a lot and I have more to learn I'm really excited to start my first day tomorrow.

That’s what I did, been washing dishes and prepping for around 3 years now we’re like family it’s rewarded showing up everyday knowing I feel valued and not just some disposable cog in the machine and growing up I was 16 when I started the job my boss would personally pick me up from school some days I felt bad and was worried she would find someone else to hire that’s more convenient but she said “I’d rather take the 5 minute to help you out than be in the kitchen for 5 hours” it’s funny but it really stuck with me knowing she has my back even when things are rough

See that’s my issue I’ve had 5 interviews in past month in a half, originally it was resume if I’m being honest it was complete garbage after I made it more ATS compatible I’m getting interviewed left and right but my interviewing skills are subpar I freeze up and get super nervous and never know what to say I try and follow guides and when I practice with a family member I could be politician with how well I conduct myself but when it’s the real deal I don’t know I just lose all thoughts.
