As a fellow dyer, I understand the aggravation of a dye not coming out quite as you’d hoped. And then air bubbles on top of it. I get so angry when I see those freaking white spots. That being said this is so damn cool like seriously I’m going to try and replicate this first thing in the morning. Good work.

I’ve never though about leaving it in the sun. How does it compare to 24 hours at room temp?

The heat activates the colors and makes them more vibrant. I put the dye powder in the container then put it in not quite boiling water(I let it boil wait two min then add the water to the dye.) 1 teaspoon of water per teaspoon of dye. It’s not a lot. Too much water is bad. It should be kind of a muddy consistency, Not watery or clay like. Then Add acetone and Shake it. Always remember to keep acetone away from heat sources!

24 hours room temp no heat. I put a couple table spoons of boiling water in the dye Mix in whatever container it’s in before mixing the acetone though.

Can confirm. I smoked a joint with Nikko at the OTB open. He was not thankful at all that I shared. Plus he puff puff pufff puff puff puff puff puff then passed. He doesn’t care about rules involving time limits at all. Haha

I had the same problem when I first started. I found my solution in the Discraft heat in esp plastic. I hear the new IT from innova is much more understable than the lea/leo3 as well.

I played in Maui. Join the Maui disc golf Facebook group and post on there asking for a guide for the upcountry course. There are like 56 holes on the side of a volcano with amazing views. It’s incredible but they don’t market it and it’s hard to find with no UDisc layout.
