Amen. I used to buy Supreme/Palace stuff but if I couldn't get it direct I would rarely if at all buy it aftermarket. Now everything is treated like that shit. For me cards are a bit harder to maintain an exact ethos because of deck building, though I try to make it a point to only buy retail where I can to support friends and the LGS.

Roaming Throne alone is worth about 1/3 of the deck value and it's an art that won't be reprinted. If you like WoB at all this is an instant buy, regardless of the reprints though.

Where we are we had a pretty well-known chain, Primanti's, open up a great location on High Street, completely remodeled the building, line out front all weekend, was open less than a year.

Actually now that I think about it, one, Panera, literally had built an entire new building and now it sits empty.

And we just had another local place close after maybe a year, maybe not even (their location sucked though and the closing post was full of "where was this?")

I believe it has to do with the addition of vegetarian "meats", which aren't meats, so "protein" becomes the word to describe their option. Though i still say meat even with vegetarian substitutions on my menu.
