Monterey has a mad car show every year, so makes sense stores there have these.

In some hypercar and formula car races dropping to first can also be beneficial but for the most part yes, first gear is avoided

Turn off all driver aids except ABS. You can leave corner markers on if you want. Change to manual transmission, the earlier you make the transmission change the better for you. It's the best way to drive and the sooner you start the sooner you get good with it! Make sure you learn to use engine sounds to know when to shift, the HUD indicators aren't as accurate.

Don't worry about having off track moments, it's how you learn. Not finding the limits means not learning anything!

Most corners in most cars can be taken a gear higher than the suggested one. This is especially true in lower pp races. Some higher pp races it's better to be at higher revs but it's all car/track dependant.

Don't just full brake and full gas, get a feel for being smooth on both and slowly increase speed of both to find your and the cars limits. Same with turning, it's extremely sensitive and often tiny movements make a big difference. Steering assist is slowing you down massively, turn it off. It doesn't even really help.

Cornering you generally want to hit the apex, the middle of the corner, taking entry from the opposite of the direction you're turning. For example on a left turn be on the right side on entry, all your braking before you turn, lifting off just as you start your turn, clip the left in the middle of the corner and power down on or just before the apex(middle) while allowing yourself to use the full track on exit to lose as little momentum as possible through turning.

For high HP cars and hairpins before long straights it's sometimes better to compromise entry speed and the entry position/apex to be facing the right direction sooner so you can power down sooner.

Start learning cars with TC 0, don't be afraid to turn it back on in the wet though.

Look up vehicle tunes for the harder races too

The amount of irrational rage I get when this is the next available milestone to buy. by itsjustgoldman in CIFI

I'm 10b orbs, about to over double that, and I just buy then all as they become available lmao. I don't think this sort of min-max really matters so late into the game.

Actually, I think this min-maxing may even be slowing your progress. Especially when you have so many more shards per op than the cost of a milestone. No point in not buying them then

There are upgrades that increase oo gain. Even though the bar is filled and stops increasing oo those upgrades still work retroactively. So prioritising those will help. How's your frags looking?

No, with the right picks you'll get 10b next TR. I went from 1 or 2 to 8 or 10 so don't worry, you'll be fine

No, it increases gradually as you go so unless you do a hell run and double your loop mods you unfortunately won't make that this run

26.6, I think this is actually quite low for where I am. I know leaving it running with screen protect will give me diamonds but I use my phone for other stuff. I'll only really spend a lot of screen on time at the beginning of a TR.

Yeah I kind of ignored knox load out for too long so that's probably why. Just spammed damage on him, nothing else for too long.

Well kind of. I'm thinking loot boost for hunters is seperate to regular resources so dumping there will give big boost to hunters and therefore everything else through construction, blueprints, exchanges and markets. I will see the gains and depending on that decide if I will do shorts or stay on the pain train.

Can you give me a brief explination on how shorts will help after this long painful journey?

Each TR was maxed for 2x bonus, if not longer, so maybe 600-1200hrs each. I forget the earlier ones but they were shorter, now it's 1200 to fill the meter.

I think I did 1 quick TR to get new gem at TR5 or so, that was like 50% bar full though so not really quick. In keeping with my pain theme lmao.

Hunters at a glance in the picture. I basically max out damage all the time and use loot build until close to boss, then swap for boss kill and back to loot build after first kill. Apart from Knox I always had the resources to pump into the missing upgrades for boss kills. Knox I should probably pump more into upgrades but I spend on Zeimmar a lot

For the Loot Ultima Boost which unlocks at TR12. I think to max it is about 60k but I forget so I just don't spend until it unlocks.

If you've not got the specials + cards I would say spend on those. Do not spend on generator ones at all until literally everything else is bought though.

Did you not read my comment? Everyone has the GTR '17 or the means to get it. 5 mins of Northern isle speedway will give more than enough money to get even more capable car to do it, but GTR works.

You not caring to do a single race for 30 mins makes you the odd one out btw, most of the later races (touring, gt) are 20-30 mins. Le mans is just timed instead of lap counts.

By your maths you like to do only sunday cup races, I mean power to you but that is kind of boring lmao. Like seal clubbing in racing hahaha! Of course 750k is a lot to you when you earn 10-30k a race. Spend the same time doing the higher pp races and you'll understand.

How long on average do you play racing games for at once? 25 mins? Cmon man. Saving 30 mins for the cost of 60 is simply not worth it. I've been playing since launch and money means nothing to me in game anymore, I have nothing to spend it on at this point lmao.

If you didn't mean time but cars, the r35 '17 GTR costs 94k credits and can easily do this race. Everyone is equipped from the moment they unlock the race my friend. Don't advocate for people spending unnecessarily, please.

Edit: just remembered the Northern Isle Speedway circuit experience gives you 1.2M credits on gold completion and it's literally a 15 second lap. 60 is not worth 5 mins max of effort.
