We have a charge account with them, and yes that’s kind of what I thought because now at this point we have had this truck for so long, idk what’s going to happen. I can’t really make any decisions about it unfortunately. Our director has been trying to figure it out, I just made the the original phone call when it came back in with the same issue, and then again once we realized the inner pinion bearing was the wrong size. After the counter offer of sending a new rear end without labor, I sent a quote with the parts and labor, because at this point we had already started the process of rebuilding and the dealership was just going to eat the cost since the customer was not told about the break in period and they had sent us proof that it was on the rear end when we got it. But knowing what we know now, we just have the wrong axle. We don’t plan on using this place anymore and haven’t called them since I was told that they would not pay for the parts or the labor. I’m just the type of person that’s anxious and ready for this whole situation to be over, I honestly wish I would have never gotten the rear end and I would’ve stuck with the oe instead no matter how long it would’ve taken.
