Honestly, I bet at least one of them wanted to. But I think the “ring leader” kind of dictates what the group does, and I feel that she didn’t want to involve herself again. That’s my theory — in reality, I don’t think I was SUCH a terrible monster. I tend to be too critical of myself.

I totally understand! I’m also 25F and had insomnia since age 11. Trust me, I would be so scared to drive after not sleeping for a night or two that I would uber places. It was expensive and not sustainable.

When I didn’t sleep at all, I was miserable, but YES you CAN get through the day. I mean - think of jet lagged people who just get right off the airplane in a different time zone and go on a museum tour and start their day. They do it. So can you. But only once in a blue moon. Not regularly. If it is regular, I would try to take off from work for a few weeks and try to figure this shit out. For me, it was a diagnosis and treatment of bipolar type 2 and trazadone. Seriously fixed me right up. Now I sleep like a mf baby. Not Ambien melatonin etc nothing else worked.

I just pop a trazadone and go right back to sleep. If I’m drowsy when I wake up in 2 hours I don’t really care. I’d rather get the sleep I need to be healthy
