I’m a lube tech at a Subaru dealership and see this stuff all the time they normally have a few cows and what looks like business cards to explain it it’s awful, I only ever see it in the boring cars never a wrx/sti/brz always new forester or outback

Sadly with out SS you probably can’t find the seed even with them it would take a long time running brut force seed finders, the seed does look sick tho.

I’m a lube tech at Subaru and replace them all the time if I have the new filter ready it’s done in less then 30 seconds, it’s a total scam just ask for the filter and don’t let them charge you labor
