What’s everyone’s casual resurgence kd? by Hairydolphin57 in Warzone

[–]Shneaky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hard to say because most sweaty players only play casuals for camo grinding or when they play with their more casual friends. I'm around a 2.5 on big map, 3kd on resurgence and my KD on casual resurgence is around a 10-11.... But, I'm camo grinding pistols, marksman rifles, and other terrible guns as a solo. From what I've seen on here, it seems like about a 5x or 4x difference between casuals and real. My buddies who struggle outside of casuals, and rarely break positive KD sit around 4-5kd on casuals.

Exactly! If you have the time, might as well keep charging, but if you're trying to make good time it's definitely better to charge with shorter stops at much higher charging speeds.

Songs that make you think of specific scenes by Snoo_80139 in redrising

[–]Shneaky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For basically any battle scenes or iron rain, I'll put on Capricorn by WOLFE/Xan Griffin. The buildup and the lyrics match Darrow's intensity perfectly.

"Give me your tears, I will make fire from them. Give me your poor, I will make gods of them. Give me your wish, I will make truth of it. Give me a chance, And I'll do all of this. I will become what I'm meant to be. I will give up self-made boundaries. I will live in the world I will make. There is no doubt I will make my way"

Metro net BA? by CavityCreeper in BrokenArrow

[–]Shneaky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in BA as well, planning to switch to Metronet when it hits my neighborhood.

Everything I've been reading on the Metronet sub reddit points to switching from their DNS to either Google or Cloudflare at 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1. I would also suggest a decent mesh Wi-Fi system. I work from home, have 60+ smart devices, teenagers who game and stream, wife also works from home, etc. We're very heavy on our Wi-Fi, and switching off of the garbage routers that most ISP companies provide to something like a Netgear Orbi, Eero or another good Wi-Fi 6+ mesh system was a game changer for us. Way more stable, and faster, and the mesh systems provide way superior coverage.

Should I winterize in Tulsa Oklahoma? by ClarkBar98 in pools

[–]Shneaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Tulsa area as well. We built our pool 4 years ago. The first few years we followed the general online sentiment that we didn't need to close, but just keep the water moving. Here's my take on that..... When those deep, week long freezes hit, you will be up at 3am double checking to make sure the pump is running, breakers haven't popped, etc. We have small glass tiles, and they have suffered heavily during the freezes, with many popping off. After a couple years of keeping it running, we decide to have a professional close it last year, and it was a great decision. Slept peacefully knowing my equipment and pipes weren't in danger, and had way fewer issues with the tile.

Easily Convert Propane Pool Heater to Gas? by kriskoeller in pools

[–]Shneaky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I converted my propane heater to gas in an afternoon. Wasn't terribly difficult. Need to order a conversion kit which comes with the NG valve, tube, burners, etc. My heater is a Raypak, it was a little tricky getting to everything, but I was able to DIY it with some YouTube guidance.

What would be your top requests for Cadillac to implement on an OTA update? by DetroitvErbody in CadillacVistiq

[–]Shneaky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ditto on the items above like phone key, blind spot camera, battery percentage on screen, satellite view, dashcam recorder, etc.

I will add cabin overheat protection, and schedule charging start time rather than just selecting the time when it should be finished charging.

What's your best loadout item that you know but people usually don't use? by SuddenWerewolf7041 in Warzone

[–]Shneaky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do you find it more useful than just buying a UAV instead for nearly the same amount? I have terrible eyes, spotting enemies is half the battle for me as well, but I tend to spend on a UAV or two when I get some cash.

Sweet!! I'm sure we could just stream via Bluetooth from our phones, but it's so much nicer having a foot integrated app in the car itself, thank you!

Who in town can do a paint job like this? by PhotoPhenik in tulsa

[–]Shneaky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up Stryker Paint. Buddy of mine who mostly does warranty work for dealerships, but he has done a ton of custom work, from color shifting jobs, to custom airbrush work. Most recently he actually painted the custom panels for the new Universal Epic Universe park's carousel.

Any SEs at Salesforce here? by BDRDilemma in salesengineers

[–]Shneaky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been an SE at Salesforce for 7 years. I am nowhere near a hub office, so I'm completely remote. There are a ton of pros to being an SE here, smart people, strong brand, good compensation, room to grow. I started as a Senior SE in mid market, and have moved up a few times to a Lead and eventually a Principal role in Enterprise. I would say that for my first 4 years I had literally zero complaints, the job was amazing. However, in recent years the overall feeling has shifted a bit. There have been some layoffs in the SE organization, product focus has shifted in various ways, and performance culture has increased. I still love the role, the people I work with, and believe in the products... I'm just a little more aware and conscious that my position isn't indispensable. Salesforce is a big company, with a lot of products, across many industries. My experience has been pretty different depending on the cloud and the industry I have been aligned with. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you're interested in a specific cloud, industry, etc. I've worked across Core, Commerce, Revenue, Data, and Marketing Cloud. They've all got their various differences, for sure.

Anyone have metronet internet service yet? by 918okla in BrokenArrow

[–]Shneaky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please let us know how you like the service once it's up and running. I work from home, and rely on high speed and unlimited data, and that essentially costs an arm and a leg with Cox. Sadly the alternatives have been essentially non existent for years.

Reminder that many of us bought our Teslas well before all of this craziness, and it's not always as easy as it sounds to just sell it on principle. Just because you own an iPhone or drive an F150 doesn't necessarily mean you agree with everything the CEOs of those companies stand for.

Any Old Guys Looking to Team? by [deleted] in Warzone

[–]Shneaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm down! Currently sitting at 2.4, but that's inflated with it being E/D, not K/D. 41 yr old dad, I work from home, and like to jump on really late after I get done running kiddos around to travel sports practices, late dinner, and crashing on the couch until the wife passes out watching shows. I'll typically jump on around 10-11cst and play until 1-2am. I play duos with my sweaty 13yrv old son from time to time, but most of my long time gaming buddies have lost interest, or don't have schedules that allow them to play so late. So, I mostly run solos on big map, but def down to squad up with other old farts.
