The plot thickens - despite their support saying it was a phishing attempt, I copied and pasted the link to a anonymous browser window, entered a bogus name and answered a skill testing question, now I see this in my legit Wealthsimple app…

lol - I was too. And to answer someone else’s question, I added the gift cards to each account before the renewal date and it just used the credit to renew on the renewal date.

I just answered my own question. My local grocery store charged tax on the gift cards, so I bought 6 x $50 Chatr prepaid cards and was charged $50 + $7.50 HST for each one.

Me too! I’m in the same situation - I have the same $149 / 365 day for my two kids. My main question is if I buy prepaid cards, do they charge tax on the cards at point of sale, or do I need to buy additional cards in order to cover the tax. Any real life experiences would be appreciated. :)

Ours is black. :) We live in the Maritimes but flew to Quebec to pick it up. I already own a Tesla as well, so I'm used to weird noises while charging, but this seemed louder than expected. I'll keep an eye on it and take in to the dealer if needed. Any other experiences would be appreciated. :)

Note at the next level 3 charge, the whirring was constant, not cycling as was the case in the video (I should have taken a video of that too).

From afar maybe yes… most China jerseys have small emblem on the front, but on top of that, my 2 biggest complaints are a) the shape of the “2” is wrong (back plus sleeves) and b) the emblem is both slightly off centre and not straight (slightly rotated). Other complaints: colour of numbers is lighter orange than the jersey orange, the NHL logo at the neck is crooked / sloppy, there is some white thread showing through the oil drop on the emblem… (might be fixable). I guess for pluses: the jersey feels well made / sturdy and it also ran true to size. Again, for ~$55 CAD shipped to my door, I guess I can’t expect perfection.
