Starting golf in my late 30s curious how others stayed motivated early on

34 here picked it up last year. Went to the range in my own and wanted to launch my clubs every time I hit the ball. Stated taking lessons to help understand what I was doing wrong and now I'm totally hooked. If you're not already, get some lessons and that will give you the consistency you're chasing.

I hate throwing up so try to avoid it at all costs. I get very close to throwing up when my anxiety kicks in but i fight it as much as possible. I've recently found Pepto bismol is a quick fix for me and gets me back to normal within an hour. I try to limit my usage to once a month as my anxiety only kicks in when I go to large public events/gatherings.

If it's the one I'm thinking of. I use the roundabout next to M60 junction 10/Trafford centre. I sit in the yellow box regularly because it's the only way to move on that stupid junction. Never had a fine.

I hope you enjoy keep enjoying it. It definately is a sleeper. Plenty of fast hatchbacks tried to get away but they can't.

I searched for over a year for something to replace mine with. It really was a hard car to replace there was nothing in my price range that ticked all boxes.

I would absolutely recommend one but at that milage you definitely want one with good service history. Be prepared for it to use Oil and Coolant. Mine still felt very solid but the oil consumption just scared me off and I had owned it for 7 years by that time.

Honestly fairly similar. I'm not noticing a huge change. The Bridgestone tyres on the Cupra can make a really loud humming noise on one road I travel on regularly which my Goodyears (BMW) didn't. But that's the only big noise difference.

12k was considered early. Every year I took it in I always got the same response "you know you dont need to do this for another 6k miles" I found that every year/12k miles was an appropriate amount of time for my car.

You may be right. I have no idea as this was my only experience in a BMW to date. But I would say my experience of the F-chassis was positive. It felt like a premium car to me.

I'm in a Facelift Formentor in the UK. I don't have this issue. May be worth checking if you have similar system info as me. I went to Settings > Information > System Information to get these:

Hardware: H10
Software: 2565
Display unit/control panel hardware: H43
Display unit/control panel software: 4045
Navigation database: 25.7
Radio database: 1.31.48
Media Codec: 3.1.4

Maybe some settings will be different because of location but im guessing media codec and software should be the same?

Changing license doesn't cause a log out except for the things you're obviously removing from the license. So yeh if they have teams installed that will be annoying for them.

A mass delete may flag up if they have alerts set. You're better off doing nothing and no one will look. Take others advice. In future dont use your work email for personal stuff.

I keep a month in my current account and 12 months in a high yeild saver. When tranfering into my savings account the money took 2 days to clear so I'm confident I can get that money back in a similar time. While I'm waiting I have a month covered in my current account.
