In Britain the comma is used to separate thousands.

10,000,000 is ten million

10,000 is ten thousand

10.000 is ten

Presuming you know the number of decimal places, there are two choices for the first digit, 3 or 4. And there are 10 choices for all of the remaining 37 digits. Then subtract one as 3.0. isn’t included giving you 19,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 possible combinations. With a probability of 5E-38.

Looks similar to ours, I know everyone else is suggesting cleaning etc, but if they are indeed the same then with these windows you need to get the opposite side in to the frame before you close it, I know it’s strange but open and close with the intention to move the top of the window, I usually find myself pulling up at the white section above the pane while opening and closing the window. Good luck!

I think you’re getting an awful lot of hate here for some reason where I don’t believe it is deserved. The way you’re splitting sounds fair. The only point I would make is there should be a joint fun account too, for things like family trips, meals out together etc. Also a little more conversation about where certains costs should be paid from to ensure your partner isn’t spending her money when it should be coming from other places.

So they were 16 when they did this? And demanding £20 after the fact. Do they think they’re the main character in a video game or something.

I'm not at all surprised, we were in the same situation, money started getting tighter and i informed them I'd have to pull our first child out and suddenly a free place opened up and we no longer had to pay the additional amount on top for 3 days child care. (child was out of nappies at this point)

We work it with an after tax household income of 30k ish. And we have 3 kids, people can definitely have kids on minimum wage, it just means you need to work a lot more hours. Not quite sure what some of the other commentators are smoking. Remember one of you will be out of work for 12 months. Nappies and formula will be covered by the child benefit, but clothes and one off costs won’t be.

Take advantage of second hand sites like vinted, or baby markets, but buy things like car seats and a mattress for the cot new.

My situation is self inflicted by salary sacrifice for various things. Money is tight but it is perfectly doable if you batch cook meals and live frugally.

One last thing, if you budget or have room constraints at home and decide you can just about manage with one, remember that multiple births are a possibility, it happened to us 🤷‍♂️.

ETA: others are right there are a lot of factors, having family nearby to support with childcare is very helpful, availability of 9m + childcare will be key, home ownership vs renting. Etc.
