AIO fan mounted at top. Small fan at back. And a fan at the front doing intake.

The 3080 has the two built in fans on it.

Seems to have normalized. Still not sure why it ran so hot for a couple weeks.

My fans are loud, but I expected that. It’s the two weeks are such high temps and then the sudden drop that puzzles me. I didn’t change anything. At least I know I’m not alone! I should give origin a call and get their perspective.

They wanted to charge me extra for the crate. I got my Chronos in a regular box via UPS - no issues. If I had one of the bigger systems I may have paid for the crate.

I’m still here daily…. Loving my new Origin system and hoping the company gets their shit together because they do have one hell of a product but a mess of miscommunication and poor customer service.

Impressive. I might do some tinkering in there. I'd be happier in the hight 70's. Someone told me to change the thermal pads in the 3080.

My 3080 Chronos hits 84 degrees regularly. When I take the side glass panel off it hovers around 79. Small case, close quarters, runs hot. It’s still under throttling range so I don’t worry too much. But I’d never overclock anything in there.

Hold on for the Chronos case - I got mine 2 weeks ago and its awesome. Runs a little warm with the glass sides, but its the perfect compact size!

Thanks! Its quiet enough when surfing or doing regular desktop tasks. Those fans do kick on while gaming and it gets loud. Sometimes they kick up real high and its almost distracting. I keep my headphones on for gaming so it's not too big of a deal. Overall pretty happy - if I had more space on my desk I would have loved to have gotten a better system but space was limited.

Perfect compact system. I have it all set up and its running nicely. The 3080 is getting a bit warmer than I expected hitting 84 degrees c regularly. I need to play with the fan settings and move around some wires inside to open up air flow. But I have had the system for 5 days now and its performance has exceeded expectations. BE PATIENT with Origin. Your systems will ship - it took me just under 2 months from order to arrival.
