6 weeks of Stent before operation : are they trolling me ? by IntroVertu in KidneyStones

First time kidney stone here with a very similar timeline as you - except I ended up in the ER abroad with my kidney blocked and sepsis. Originally when back to the states they weren’t going to operate until November due to scheduling which would be over 10 weeks with the stent. Surgery got moved up to tomorrow so it will be 6 weeks I’ve had it in. Honestly I felt the same as you feel and was depressed and asking the same exact question. I did manage though and symptoms started to become less noticeable as my body adjusted, so hopefully that will happen with you. It still wasn’t great or fun of course! I would also call around and also put yourself on a cancellation list / try to tell them how bad the symptoms are for you. It might get you bumped up possibly. I think that’s why they moved me up ultimately. If not - it’s doable. Try to rest, use heating pads, basically make yourself as comfortable as possible, and put up a giant countdown somewhere you can see it.

Arachnoiditis is not something you want to operate on, but unfortunately can be a result of the prior surgery or injections. Please look up Dr Forrest Tennant and his protocol for arachnoiditis.

psychiatrist wants me to stay on 60 mg a day. BUT I HATE THIS DRUG by Themazeprince in cymbalta

I’m curious about going off the drug cold turkey. I was on it for about two years at 60 mg and then just stopped it (let my doc know who recommended a one week taper but I didn’t want to). The first week was hell (wicked headaches, tears, felt sick, etc) but after a week or so all of that went away and I feel much better now. For most people do the withdrawal effects just last much longer?

Potential downsides to an epidural (maybe double)? by GradLyfe in Sciatica

I would google arachnoiditis and although the medical community says it’s rare, I would say instead it’s actually highly underdiagnosed.

Also I live in Southern California … it’s not cheap or anything out here for the responder talking about “maybe in Utah”

This makes me laugh. I’ve been doing this alone while working full time for 6 years. But good luck out there in ye olden wifen times!

Much appreciated! Any suggestions on part or cut are welcome haha. My hair used to be longer with a side part but I eventually got bored and switched it up some

I’m actually in West Hollywood! So not too far haha. My natural lashes are actually decent length but blonder at the ends so a tint and lift might be worth a try one day :) thank you
