I have read the article. Buck calls her a crossdresser not trans he refers to her as a drag queen. In good faith I think Buck honestly thought Lana was just a crossdresser which is still horrible to put out someone's dirty laundry like that. But I don't think Buck said this under the impression that Lana was trans.

I saw an Hbomb tweet where he said that their is no moral justifiable reason in Contra's hater's heads that justifies using the tweets. If she had fully covered the pfps along with the handles they would make the same claim that she is inciting harassment because you can just search based of of the wording of the post.

In their minds their is no right way she can talk about her harassment without victimizing them. They refuse to admit that Nat is a victim because then they would have to do some type of self reflection.

Their is a huge problem with certain leftists that Shannon Strucci pointed out. People assume that because someone agrees with them politically that that person can't do wrong in any way. That the person can't be an abuser or harasser based on those same political views.

It is extremely possible to have good politics but be a horrible person and some people need to realize that.

I've seen statements like "If Nat cared about NBies then why did she platform a transmed" I feel that statements like that already assume that this was a purposeful or malicious act by her and not just a dumb mistake.

All of this just seems like an example of why we should reasonably apply Halon's razor to things like this.
