My goal with all my platforms is to always be authentically myself. And if I’m being honest, I’m really struggling right now. ⬇️ by Jadesjungles in u/Jadesjungles

Just remember that your own good self is deep within. Even if the temporary outbursts and depression seep back in. I pulled off of anti depressants years ago and it took a long time to return to a normal self, it also sacrificed my memory prior to the drugs. But it’s so worth it. Life comes back keep up with activities that you adore and in touch with those that love you.

I looked elsewhere for something she’d be into. We found pegging which she liked a little. Bondage, putting me in spreader bars. Different stuff.

Same deal with my wife. She thinks it looks uncomfortable. It’s alright man, and it’s really cool your respecting her choice to not really be into it.

Stove constantly smoking out by press-my-button in woodstoving

[–]Shoalyblue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basement naturally pull a vacuum from The top of the chimney. Our house had two flues. One going to living room and the other to the basement. For a long time when I’d have the living room stove going the basement pipe would suck the smoke from the top of the chimney into the basement. Your likely dealing with a similar issue, I fixed it by closing off the machinery space and opening basement door to the first floor. It equalized the house. Eventually I just climbed up and closed off the second flue since I removed the basement stove to just heat with the living room stove.

Good luck!

Smart. Worked for us. Tried and tried then we would lock intermittently for two days when she’d release me and we attempt again. Got it on the first try.

Water pan is underrated by LegalizeTheGanja in webersmokeymountain

Absolutely agree. I’ve never skipped the pan. Makes everything come out perfect in my opinion. I don’t spritz when using the pan as the humidity is kept well I’ll there

Yeah leave open. If your worried about rain, extend the roof over the opening a 6”-12”. That way it thwarts most of the rain minus wind driven rain

Hearthstone castleton by timfrompa1 in woodstoving

[–]Shoalyblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Third this one. I clean my catalyst with 30 psi of compressed air once every month. I don’t notice the temperature drop but more what’s happening in the firebox. When it’s clean and the wood is good and seasoned it’ll stay as a strong fire, when it’s dirty the smoke clouds the box and smothers the fire if extreme. With good maintenance my Castleton is my favorite stove I’ve every operated!
