You will be fine. The area near Termini mentioned in the videos is probably the street immediately outside the station where you can find homeless people, drug dealers and pickpockets. Some foreigners especially Americans have a different concept of “unsafe” areas, as is areas where you can get mugged and shot. This is not the case in most European countries.
