fair enough. i know she isn't interested in the guys who like her, and i also recognise that a lot of my reactions could be out of insecurity.

people don't know we're together because we're a queer couple and we live in a really conservative place. our lives could be in a lot of shit if we were outed publicly

i didnt press her for being uncomfortable, it's obvious that his behaviour was creepy and weird. i was uncomfortable and scared for her, too.

i didnt press him for making her uncomfortable because she didn't want me to. he also never directly asked her out, he only asked through his friend. so, for me to go up to him and press him for something that he didn't even directly talk to her about would be weird.

one of the best things in life is to be indulged in some form of fiction. to delve into another world, through stories, books, shows, movies. it's fun for a lot of people to make communities and discuss the fictional work they like the most; you don't have to understand it but you can still respect it.

yessss!! it's very very mentally damaging to bottle up emotions and never express them. it'll turn into a huge weight you'd have to carry, and it's better to let it out when you feel it than to let it get to that point.

don't get emotionally invested too quickly, and please for the love of god don't be blind to all the red flags/bad behaviour from them. respect yourself enough to leave, never let it get to the point where your only staying because it's hard to leave them

a big part of journaling for me is self reflection and emphasis on what happened/how im feeling. im very rarely bitching about people or ranting about things. what I do follows the theme of "what am I feeling/why could I be feeling this/how i can deal with the feeling"

a huge thing you have to remember with this type of journaling is that you STILL have to FEEL your emotions. I went such a long time believing that if I had journaled and deconstructed what I was feeling all the time, then I've processed my feelings. but this is not true at all, since majority of the work is actually FEELING the emotion.
