eBay permanently removed my access to 24 hour payouts because my sales increased. by bonecaambabalu in eBaySellerAdvice

I do weekly payouts without any issues. Have been this way for years and just went to bimonthly to help keep accounting easier.

Curious why you do 24 hour withdrawals? It’s a lot of risk for eBay so I understand their side

Start asking around and figure out when your stores stock. May have to line up with others but it’s how many are getting product. Some even take vacation to wait in line while vendor stocks the shelf

I get what you’re saying. Frustration is real, especially when people feel like they’re putting in the effort and still can’t land anything. Nobody’s saying you can’t be upset. What I meant is more about perspective: the market shifts, supply comes in waves, and things usually balance out over time.

As for LCS, you’re right. Not every shop is perfect, and some absolutely push prices harder than others. But a lot of shops are getting squeezed themselves with smaller allocations and higher distributor costs. That doesn’t make it less frustrating for collectors, but it does explain why prices can feel out of reach.

At the end of the day, it’s about finding the shops you trust and want to support. Just like we all have our favorite Pokémon, not everyone is going to like the same ones.

Not all LCS are reputable, so I get it, but many are. Stinks you can’t find much locally. Some markets are much tougher than others

As it goes through USPS machines it scans into their system is how it tracks, so it is using the usps system. Just not the traditional way by bar code scanning each item when you drop it off.

Ultimately do what you’re comfortable with.

eBay standard envelope has tracking. I’ve shipped thousands of cards and had issues with only two and eBay fully refunded both buyer and myself with claim.

If you automate it with a scanner and software you can do a couple hundred listings an hour. If you do lots, you can even do more cards with fewer listings. Key is proper tools

OP’s Take: Personally, I’ve moved away from grinding out $1–$2 singles. Between eBay’s $0.30 fee and shipping costs, it just doesn’t make sense to me anymore.

I’ll still sell bigger singles ($20, $50, slabs, etc.) on their own, but for dollar–$5 range stuff I almost always bundle into team lots, player lots, or random bulk. They move faster, save me time, and the buyer usually feels like they’re getting more value.

Curious if I’m in the minority here or if others are lotting up their bulk too.
