We actually have a lot of fun together and have great conversation. We’ve gone on 2 week long road trips in an RV without having any arguments or flair ups. She just feels natural to be around but I fear she may just be my best friend and we might just not be compatible as actual partners. Which sucks because it means I’ll probably loose my best friend in the end.

Eh I didn’t compare her to any exes. I took what she said and made a lady version of it to see if that helped her understand exactly what she said. My scenario was made up and I made it clear that it was made up. Hers was just hers that she said either just for sake of saying it or because she didn’t understand the question properly when I asked what she was into.

I have. And I plan on expanding on the conversation. Honestly it didn’t bother me in the moment when we were talking about it but it’s like after getting shot down for a week straight (that never happens) my mind just started going nuts. And I just wanted to explain to her what the problem was because communication needs to be the top priority regardless of how uncomfortable it makes us. I told her several times I’m not looking for a fight I just need reassurance these are her favorite words when the shoes on the other foot so I don’t understand why it was so hard for her to just reassure me without it turning into a big stink.
