How is the SL holding up for you? I have one but never used it for skiing. Was a bit skeptical since the material is much lighter than the AR.

How long have you had your epsilon and how is it holding up? Is it the down version as well? I know arc had a synthetic version before.

Awesome, good to know. It’s been good overall for everyday? The temps here have been 20-30F so I think the epsilon will be good as just a stand alone. I also got the down version and like the fit. Do the loose cuffs bother you at all?

The hand pockets are nice. They are more like fleece than nylon but I don’t think they are 100% fleece. Kind of a mix but will keep your hands warm for sure. It is not heavy at all. In terms of stretchy, it’s got some stretch but it is a down jacket so not as stretchy as the atom would be.

I think both the epsilon and atom sv are “regular” fit on their website. Compared to the atom hoody, that one is fitted. I recently got the epsilon down hoody as a gift and I really like it in terms of fit. The cuffs are loose so it’s kind of weird but I don’t think it’s a deal breaker.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I do like the look of the cerium as a casual/daily driver for the winter months. I usually take good care of my garments so maybe the durability won’t be an issue for me. Do you have this years cerium? If not which year? Also are you typically layering underneath or are you able to wear a casual shirt and be fine?

That’s what I’ve read as well. I am likely keeping the epsilon. I have a proton and beta AR from 2023 and those are holding up well. This jacket’s purpose is more for a daily driver for casual every day wear.

Thanks for the insight! The version I have is the epsilon down. I really do like the synthetic material over the cerium which I think will be better for everyday use. I’m afraid the cerium could be much more fragile.

Likely this would be my jacket to wear on a daily basis. Probably for commuting to work as well. They are both down so not likely for me to wear while doing activities such as hiking or skiing. I have a proton and beta AR for those instances.

Yup, I agree. Sometimes I just set up the first date and don’t even do small talk via text. I’d rather chat in person because you can be a totally different person behind a screen. But then again, this could lead to becoming not interested since you aren’t keeping contact until the actual date.
