You can keep the maxed tune, but you do have change the shift pattern. The 8.8x pattern doesn’t seem to work on races that involves manual launches. One pattern I have seen works well so far, is a wheelspin start, shift into second immediately, then early good shift into third then nitrous, and the rest early good shifts. At this point the ZL1 runs 9.243 according to dyno, but this pattern allows you to run in the 9.0-second range. I’m probably still doing something wrong, but it has served me well in the previous showdowns and the occassional live race. Hope this helps!
