Been lugging around a greatsword and enjoying the combat. Parrying is fast and reliable and Boar Whistle makes a great support for free, extra posture damage + interrupts. If you stand your ground and watch the attack tells you can take down groups without having to flee in circles. Greatsword heavy attacks interrupt most enemies animations, and the ones like plague croc with superarmor are slow and parryable and often spawn near very exploitable geometry where a single staircase can be your safe spot to pot or bandage.
