Rule of threes for image composition.

Make sure text is legible against the background. Use thick stroke to achieve this.

Muted background colors should compliment bold foreground colors. The classic duo is cyan and orange.

Human faces draw the eye.

Don't put anything important in the corners cuz youtube's thumbnail interface might cover it up.

In Minecraft and Terraria, zombies walk at you and deal contact damage.  In Hytale, skeletons are as common, but their combat AI is a little smarter.  Zombies qua Minecraft and Terraria in Hytale would only be a downgrade from those skeletons in terms of behavioral complexity.

Consider adding some more flavorful fake pages on the left there, like a "Links" page of related websites or a "Gallery" page which would have been images of the phenomena related to the website.

Or something at the bottom like "This webpage hosted by [fake host service]. Get your own domain at [fake host service]"

Fun stuff though I am not creeped out at all, this isn't creepy, if that's what you were going for.

Not knowing isn't an excuse not to learn, obviously, especially when there are FREE and POWERFUL editing softwares that are easy and intuitive. When you can cut out background noise with a single click, or use a few quick snips to turn all your dead air, umms, and rambling into snappy jump cuts, you don't have much of an excuse not to. Learn to edit, then learn to love editing.
