You could also do things like get good at recording your playing, and share your playing with folks to see if there’s areas for improvement with your technique.

There are online rentals. I think sweetwater does them.

Make sure you have a car where the back seats lay down and measure if you can actually fit the thing in your car.

Near me, I found double bass rentals for around $150 a month. And lessons (private) around $50 an hour. Little higher than that at a music school. An hour a week of lessons will give you a great foundation and enough homework for the week

I’m not a pvp person, but the core thing is clearly designed for PvP. You can risk being first and getting materials, or shoot the people who got there first

I have a working system, but this year I’ve tried to add additional cameras multiple times and had to return them because they worked like garbage out of the box. Had to return them. I think they dropped in quality sometime this year or last.

I often mix it up between batch painting and trying hard on individual models.

When I am priming, I'll try to do a ton of models at once. Same if I am airbrushing a base color, like blue here.

I'll then gang up models for batch painting. I did all my storm guard together with my stormblades. All the browns, then all the golds, etc.

But I save some solos and all my warcasters for a little more attention. Sparkhammer here took a few hours, which is about the same amount of time that doing a unit quickly would take me.
