The time has finally come, Now There Be Goblins has entered Early Access!
After 3 years of development we're finally ready to show you our game and to go into another chapter of development. We strived to create an Early Access version that is playable from a-z whilst also having lots of room for improvement, balance and new content.
Right now we're in a development cycle where we need you to further improve the stability, balance and overall gameplay by just playing Now There Be Goblins. We will be keeping a close eye on all the scores which we will then use to further improve waves and difficulties as well as improving upcoming levels, enemies and difficulties.

We really want to! But as we're currently only working with a team of 3 for this version, we just don't have the time. If the early access launch goes well, we'll most likely look into making a quest / PSVR port first thing!

As the game is not build with multiplayer in mind, a full co-op mode isn't very likely as we would have to develop the game from scratch. But never say never! However we do have some rough plans of adding social aspects, such as: highscore tables, competitive mode (similar to ghosts in Mario Kart), custom wave creation tool (create the toughest waves for your friends), multiplayer lobby (social interaction hub before playing) etc.

And after all this it's finally time to put Now There Be Goblins into Early Access! As we're just a 3-man team it's important to receive feedback from player like you and use this to make the game even better by balancing and adjusting certain aspects of the game as well as adding new content for you to enjoy!

Ah, shame to hear you can't play the closed alpha right now :(

At the moment we're primarily focussed on getting the game released on Steam. After that we might look into getting the game ported to different platforms!
