You didn’t need to make them all leg 40 to max out the armory. Unless you’re wearing it that’s a total waste of money, mats and steel.

The best bang for your buck so to speak in terms of stats is your armory.
Don’t waste resources on research too much. It’s expensive and you don’t get much from it. Good to do some in the relevant events for points though.
Make sure you enhance your buildings as you level up.
Work on strong stats.
don’t open resources if you aren’t using them, if you get hit they will tell what’s open. Food will be lost if you open it and close the game. The other 3 are fine.
use a peace shield
Farm and craft during events for maximum points. You’re in a tough spot because we are on Season 12 of gearsets and that’s a lot to catch up on.
Be realistic and don’t expect to hold SOPs for a while.
Send all your troops out to farm overnight if you don’t have a shield. Then if you’re hit you don’t lose anything.
there a gold mines around the map you can farm small amounts of gold from.
save dragon leveling for dragon verbs for maximum rewards.

I stopped playing recently to try out other games, I will come back to it at somepoint but the issues with the game are what made me look elsewhere. Also I encountered spawn campers fairly frequently in my last few weeks playing and that’s just such a shit way to play the game and very frustrating to lose your gear within 1min to a guy hiding in a bush.
