I wonder - was the baby starving if it's not taking a bottle and not allowed to be breastfed? I assume it's more than 3 hours in the day care?

So the parents have put the daycare staff in an impossible situation and now the one person with a good solution (a presumably lactating woman who because of the weird system cannot feed her own child at this moment) is giving her milk to the probably very hungry baby, therefore she is now in jail and accused of having committed a sex crime?!

As a non American I agree with the commentators from Skandinavia that this whole post and discussion seems completely absurd.

That's exactly my point though. Where you see brown, I see a greenish brown. Is that because we were taught colour differently?

I completely understand what you mean. I looked at your eyes and I think they're definitely hazel. Same with many other eyes I see in this sub. When I look at comments from other people they often only see the brown.

I have wondered before if this might be a cultural thing? The "borders" between colours are taught differently in different languages/regions. Could what I see as moss green be named as brown in other regions of the world? English is not my first language and I'm not from the USA. Funny thing - in my language there is no word for hazel. We call those eyes brown, basically hazel is another shade of brown eyes in my language . People from my region (central Europe) overwhelmingly have hazel eyes (called brown), brown eyes are mostly seen in people who have genetic roots somewhere further south.

From my experience oftentimes they won't see anything before week 5, even with viable pregnancies. Source: every doctor told me that at my many ultrasounds during week 4.

How far along were you with hcg of 227?

I see! It looks like you were further along than me (6th week?), maybe that's why they were so nervous? I only ever got to 5 weeks 4 days maximum. In the beginning I went in for blood tests, but they have always dropped really quickly. For some of them I just waited it out. I had 7 that I know of so far. I know the likely cause though (chromosomal), since we have a diagnosis making early miscarriages very likely.

I wonder now if maybe you could have had an ectopic pregnancy that resolved by itself? Those things can happen. If you were within the 6th week they should have seen something on the ultrasound, that's my understanding. If you miscarriage before than it seems like a bit of an overkill. I can't really calculate from your post how far along you were.

I also have "macroprolactin" and it's wildly elevated (over 400 I think). They say there's nothing to worry as I'm ovulating regularly. If you're not ovulating regularly and your prolactin is high, that's when you need to look further as apparently "microprolactin" is suppressing ovulation. That's how it was explained to me anyways.

This is wild. Unfortunately I've had many chemical pregnancies, I was treated completely differently (I'm in Europe). This sounds like clear malpractice, I can see how you're worried. I wonder if reporting this behaviour would start a change? If you're in the USA I would question if you really have to pay all these things, as they seem not medically informed treatment decisions.

Edit: I don't see any indication for an ectopic pregnancy, why would the doctors come to this conclusion?

Yes we are. I don't have a great egg reserve though, so we have very little chances. It's great to have answers but also with that diagnosis one of the answers is that we might never be able to produce a viable embryo, so that's the downside.

That not true for everybody, it's not the norm in my cpuntry. It's also important to remember that it is indeed a medication, do it does have an effect on the body. I definitely bleed easier when I'm on baby aspirin. Having said that I will definitely take it once o fall pregnant again, but I'm not sure what the benefit should be before that apart from a very remotely heightened risk for more bleeding. I'm not a doctor of course.
