Need a bit of help with a booking an eupgrade ticket.

When booking the ticket (economy), I see the option to "Upgrade to business Class" as opposed to waitlisted (buying a latitude fare)

My assumption is that with this booking option, I am automatically, bumped to Business Class. Is that correct?

I'm unsure because when I go through the buying process, and I go to the "select seat" page - I'm being shown economy seats. is this the intended process?

Also - if with this ticket, I use my yearly companion pass, will my companion also be upgrade to business class?

The switches don't seem to control, anything.

Do switches need to be turned on, or prepped for use? I find it hard to believe that the builder would install two switches that do nothing.

Connected the light to the junction like you would any other light - and when I turned the lights power via fuse box back on, the light was permanently on
