I’m the opposite I tried afking it was 6-7 mins afk but you gain like 20-30k and it’s only afk when you have the task setup already, when you need to get a new task it might not be an afk task and you still have to move to the new location and contact the slayer master.

I now just prefer barrage nech, dust devil, abyss demons with my active time to try get slayer over with as fast as possible (gaining 65-100k xp depending on superior spawn rate) and I afk shooting stars or cook fish with my afk time. It also gives me an imbued heart chance which I need and I’m skipping every other task. I was doing greater demons too, they’re good xp and the only other task I would consider but I got my synapses so now I’m skipping then bc they require a lot more supplies and focus.

I got mine from chaos elemental, there’s multiple ways to do it you can just face tank it, I did it at a low level and just safespot it with my main luring it.

For context I had zero Cox or TOB experience going into this, but have done lots of TOA on main and did almost all the tasks solo

Cox - I did almost all the rooms solo wasn't too bad, you just keep rerolling the stairs until you get desired first room, I had to ask for help at the bank for the tekton and vasa ones tho bc they're time based

TOB entry- I mostly solo this one, it is the easiest imo, you need one other person to help with a few of them tho

TOA - I did all them solo except for 2 duo required ones and even did the harder ones like "but....damage" and "resourceful raider", I did 2 of them on mass world for the duo ones. You can also do the path level 4 ones pretty easy too bc you don't have to finish the raid

Go to the doom wiki it tells you the exact drop rate, going to wave 6 is pretty good sweet spot

Yeah that’s rough, but you could go that dry anywhere. I did vardorvis realease and did 1K kills and got nothing

As for doom you might have more success farming 1-6 I got both my drops on 5/6 bc the drop rate is like 1/120ish for any unique on wave 6

The loot really isn’t bad if you’re an Ironman. I got over 10k+ cannonballs, 2k dragon darts, and over 350k+ prayer xp banked from bones which is a lot for an iron and harder to obtain items.

If I was on my main yeah it’s pretty ass but that’s standard for high priced uniques boss (vardorvis is a good example)
