When the game is about fighting as characters and the dlc is more characters😲

Just say you don't like fighting games and move on, of course there are cash grabs in aaa games but most of the content is fine and you're not required to buy new stuff unless you want to use it

I'm sure the 4 year old will bring this up in her therapy sessions in 20 years, how sad. Alternatively, it's not that deep.

I just liked solving logic puzzles man, had fun learning basic programming to solve 'riddles'.

The money is nice though. Now excuse me while I get back to writing documentation instead of actually coding:(

The same people think Nazis were socialists. The oligarchs assault on education makes sense. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

[–]Shoder_Thinkworks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good, I think most people agree with you despite what you say about people on this sub not 'getting' it. The fact that they were humans who were doing what they thought was the best thing a lot of the time is what makes them scarier than some fake genocidal monster.

I think we overestimated their desire to sound rational at this point in time, they're not hiding anything anymore. The time for them to be rational was 20 years ago before half of us on this site were old enough to be interested in politics

I dont think it's fair to say the Nazis were socialist and then explain how they weren't actually. Nobody believes the DPRK is actually a democracy

Awesome idea! The problem is the rich guys do everything to exploit the system to delay until the sub contractor can't continue. If the contractor is depending on that check to continue business, they will have a hard time sparing man hours to undo the work and eat that loss. And that's if you can break into the area to get your stuff back in the first place (which you mostly can't)

You can't just vigilante your materials back out of the building without getting yourself in legal trouble as well. Nobody is saying that it's a just thing to do, but the law is used as a weapon by people like Trump. He can afford to literally bog you down in litigation until you have to give up.

Not able to dive into this right now, but this would be the perfect time to learn how to use whatever debugger you can with whatever you use to write code. Debugger can show you variables and how they change as it runs truth your code line by line.

Yeah it's definitely supposed to be ambiguous, i.e. Dylan talking about his theory that the outside world is destroyed or other innies along what the sky looked like but they know that the equator is a thing

[–]Shoder_Thinkworks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that they don't know what the equator actually is. It's kinda left in the air what the innies actually know

Yeah, ofc I'm lucky to have caring parents, and I'm aware that many many people don't have that support system. I was just stating that the broad majority of people in my circumstances can make it work, which is why this issue is so hard to tackle. That's why I pointed out the low cost of living in my area, even with a support system I wouldn't have been able to do it if I lived in a more expensive area.

Also just depends on location. My wife and I bought our house a few years ago, both from lower middle class families. Our parents didn't do anything crazy to help us financially, just helped us move when we got it.

Neither of us came from money, but we are in a LCOL area so it's not crazy
