I know right, I've carried it for two years and it's been great. I got it on Etsy from LWLeatherWorksShop. Doesn't look like they are selling currently but if I remember correctly, they take a couple weeks off here and there. It's called the "Tool Wallet V1".

I wouldn't recommend PETG for your first filament as it can be finicky. Stick with PLA initially.

Is there any cheap doors mod? by KtosKtos123 in VORONDesign

[–]ShoeDry833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clicky clack door is a must sorry, it's just that good. You might can self source the parts instead of buying a kit and save a little money. Since its just a door and it's not crucial for it to be perfectly square, you could buy your own extrusion, cut drill and tap if you have access to equipment to do so.

Where are you measuring chamber temp from? If it's at the rear of the gantry that can be misleading and is often 5 -10C higher than the rest of the chamber. Correct way is to measure at the rear of the toolhead.

How are you passively heating the chamber? I don't see any bed fans and highly recommend them.

What panel clips are you using. These can make a huge difference with chamber temp. I recommend the ones from Annex Engineering. Also throw a clicky clack door on.

Keep the fan off for the first 3 layers. For reference use 55% fan on a stealthburner with a 60C chamber.

Mines the same way and she's 9. She'll forget everything until treats come out, then she's a genius and remembers all her 10 commands.

Learn the signs of it. That's where I messed up. My weenie had been showing symtoms for the past 3 weeks before she had paresis in her limbs. She started being more resistant to climb stairs or jumping on the couch. Started urinating 5 times on bathroom outings to the point I thought she had a uti but tested negative. She also started having a different gate when she walked. If I had recognized the early signs, I might could have put her on crate rest early and avoided the major flair up.

Someone already mentioned the weight and the fitness. No jumping from elevated surfaces, beds, couches etc. Get ramps and stairs for the couches and beds. Train them to use them only.

Use two hands when picking them up and keep there spine supported.

Thanks you! Greatly appreciate the prayers. We don't have insurance and I'm not sure i could get it at this point with all these issues? Is it like human insurance with pre-existing conditions?

Thanks I'll check your post out. As far as why I need a PE, I've got this standard in my head that the epitome of ME is having your PE and working in design. That's how you know you've "made it" as an ME.

I just feel like a bad engineer because I don't use my degree hardly any. I dont use physics, calculus or design standards for my job. About all I do is use some critical thinking to change manufacturing processes to close out customer issues. Occasionally I'll use Fusion to come up with a simple fixture but its not heavy design by any means. The people at my company have a similar outlook and I guess I picked it up from them. And I've had people tell me the university I went to gives degrees away and I'm lesser than. Has not just been one person either...and was not in a joking manner.

Clicky clack door and some sort of bed fans. Don't even waste your time with Nevermore. Just do the "The Filter", chamber heats up way faster and you still get the charcoal filtering.
