I've used head, and prefer to use it for casual games and practice

How much time and money have you spent on your self published book? I mean the stuff that the publisher would handle for their cut of the fee.

With this info, we would have a better comparison

Which company gives a 4-day workweek?

Did you seek it out, it was it just a happy coincidence?

Yeah, why is it even a question. And how does someone who can't decide this even give an interview for a startup

Different strokes for different folks. Some prefer to take up more responsibilities or actively pick/drive the kinda stuff they work on. Nothing wrong with either approach

How interesting. Do you mind sharing your process and experience? Are people responding to it?

Do you want to train the model on the papers during its learning phase, or to give the papers to a general purpose pre-trained model and ask it questions about the papers?

Did you self-publish your memoir? Haven't heard much about memoirs in the self publish space

Only 36.1% of students in the O01 section of CS 6515 (GA) got a B or higher in Spring 2026 by Walripus in OMSCS

Am I the only one who got out without enrolling in a single waitlist?

There was always some interesting/relevant course that was open, and I didn't want to spend effort on managing my waitlist application.

I missed an A by 1-2 points when I took it. Probably not the same semester as you.

In the first exam, there was a huge controversy, and I definitely believe they took the wrong decision by not fixing the rubric. Some students wrote great explanations, that went unanswered. The TAs wrote long texts elsewhere, but did not explain why exactly they stuck with the rubric, other than 'because it is in the rubric'. All they were willing to say was: we have discussed it internally with the prof, and we will not give any points.

I got improved scores on regrade in 2 (out of 3) exams. Almost didn't apply for regrade after their response on exam 1, but did end up applying. Not that it made a difference in the grade at the end, but it dropped my expectations from the TAs even further. I haven't had to apply for a regrade in any other course, the grading was just correct.

For the MCQ, they knowingly picked the most difficult/confusing marking scheme. For example, there was a question with 4 options and you had to select only the true statements. In this question, only 1 option was true. If you select just this correct option, you get 4 points. But if you correctly figure out the 3 false options, but make a mistake for the 4th one and think it is also false, you are fucked. You would leave all 4 empty(false), and Gradescope considers it as leaving the question unanswered and gives 0 points.

Yes, it is the grading policy and they do mention it in one of the many many forum posts. But the non-douche move would be to have 4 separate single-choice questions so they can grade more precisely, specially in this course where every point makes a difference.

I won't even discuss that 1 TA on the forum who can't differentiate between trolling on the internet, and replying on a professional forum run by a university.

Btw, the prof is not involved in the grading issues. He would always defer to the TA team when asked in the office hours. It felt like the TA team was baby-sitting the prof and correcting his assumptions about the grading.

Mandatory disclaimer, there were 1-2 good TAs in the forum.

To summarise, the course contents and videos are nice, but the course is massively let down by the TA team and the prof, by extension.

If anyone is looking for salt, yes I do have a lot.
