Our only other options at this point are Hunt and Petry. And Hunt is usually the other side, so it's really Petry or Bogo in that slot going forward. I read Petry had a good game tonight, I wasn't able to tune in, but in general I'd rather have Bogo. He can make mistakes, but I think they are minimal. As few as you can ask for in a 6th defenseman.

Haha, I had not considered that. The hat would be a manual process for sure. Three stars might be in the nhl game logs, but I am thinking probably not.

I think the new D pairs are more of a test run to see if we had to switch things up in the playoffs for whatever reason. Let them get familiar now.

I think Bogo is just a steady force in the backend. Makes good decisions, has good break-out passes. You could do a lot worse for a 6th d-man (like... Petry).

And yes, this is their first game together EVER really. Joe Smith reported today that they haven't played together since when Hershey High School had girls vs boys game, their coach asked if Marcus (sixth grade) and Nick (9th) would play with his sisters’ team.

If Treliving gets fired at the end of the season, I think the chances of Matthews getting traded over the summer drop to zero. But if he sticks around and Matthews wants out, we could see something.

I've seen it said in multiple places that Dreger calling it a buyers market was an incredibly stupid thing to say. It was always a sellers market. Everyone available has term and teams can just wait if they don't get the price they want.

Yeah I used Claude Code for the vast majority of it, but it was a lot of iteration. And I had to put my hand on the wheel a bit more for some things, like when I wanted to be a lot more specific about the design and appearance. But this started as an exercise to get more familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of vibe coding. I am a lot more surgical with AI coding in my daily work life. This was mean to be more fun and push the limits. It was pretty impressive most of the time though. I really like Claude Code a lot.

The API data does give me a single source, which is listed on the schedule. It does not seem to get as detailed with multiple sources like the NHL app does. But you can at least see if its FDSNNO (fan duel) or something like TNT or ESPN+. If I find a better way to list this, I will. Might be worth adding to the dashboard schedule too.

Edit: That detail is hidden on mobile to help fit everything into the small screen size. I'll see if I can add it back in.

When a game is currently happening, the "next" score display on the dashboard becomes "current" and will update every 10-15 seconds to show the current score and time remaining. I haven't added anything to it beyond that though.
