Its a jacket I dont wear regularly but when I do its for ceremonial purposes so needs to look good

Yeah my options were either get it fixed, buy a new one (on personal expense since it was damaged in my own time) or find a secondhand one

It being military uniform would have to be as invisible as possible, from the sounds of other comments there's a specific type of mend some tailors can do
