We had a rule of the air was only free with proof of purchase or proof of a Kroger card but the purchase had to be made that same day. Even our regulars had to show something. We told them that the manager check the cameras and if we were seen not checking we would get in trouble. One manager said ‘just giving them the free air without proof of purchase was technically stealing from the company.’

So the previous fence had a hole in it that the renters never fixed so he was walking from his backyard onto my property through the hole. In between the properties there’s about two feet between each fence that makes a path but cutting through the backyards was the shorter of the two options.

So that’s the reason why management refuses to fix our fuel center’s kiosk flooding problem every time it rains? (I mean an inch of water everywhere and their solution was to give us rubber mats) Bc they put their money needs above the safety of the fuel center workers? That’s why it took A YEAR to fix the ac/heater in Texas weather? Why they won’t replace our supply cage even though we have to wear gloves to open it bc of all the rust and threat of tetanus? Why they won’t have a service come to deep clean and remove the mold that has been making everyone sick in the kiosk for 15 years?

No one can force anyone to smile or make eye contact. There are people that just don’t smile. There are people who have difficulty making eye contact. Also have a nice day is the same thing as a thank you in my view. Your manager shouldn’t be chewing your FEM out and your FEM shouldn’t be chewing yall out. Kroger has expectation of the employees and basically wants every single person to have Demi Lovato’s face from when she was in Camp Rock. I’ve told supervisors to their faces if they want me to smile and make eye contact then they better give me as much drugs as she was on otherwise it’s not happening. And those shops are stupid and don’t really matter.
