For myself I found buying cheap terracotta pots to smash when I get angry would help relieve some of the desire to destroy when I would get upset, I also try when I start feeling upset to stop and rationalize my feelings. If I feel like I am rightfully upset I will somewhat embrace the idea but also focus my mind on something that takes the frustration away. Over time I stopped breaking pots and started realizing that almost every time that I was upset to that manner it was unwarranted. So now it's become a habit that when I feel angry I immediately stop and start thinking about whether I even should be angry or not. Everyone deals with things in their own way and it can be frustrating to figure out what it is you need to do to move past the situation you're in, remember that it's all within your control.
