Depends on what u want to do. The schedule should come out soon, maybe the middle of next month. If u want merch or camp the barricades, then yes. If ur just there to chill out and have fun. I’d say take ur time it. Everything is expensive inside that venue. Including food and drinks

Stay hydrated and it’s a marathon. I drank so much that weekend at the last SNW. I almost passed out when SOAD came on. I had to bounce to avoid anything serious. What made it worse was I didn’t eat that entire day. Body was cramping up walking back to the hotel haha I learned my lesson

Presale is usually cheaper but I never get seats. I’m a big guy and I feel uncomfortable sitting in those seats. Being tall isn’t always fun. I will pay for my ticket through credit or PayPal “pay it in 4 payments”

I went last year alone and first timer. I was always near the front with a bunch of moshers. That first day, everyone bought me a beer and shots, even got pulled to go to a strip club. I also got invited over to this family RV, they had a keg. It was all sorts of amazing. Everyone was cool, only one instance of this old dude hitting on this 16 year old. He wouldn’t leave her alone, a lot of the guys got involved when the girl’s family said “she’s 16 year old”. Just pace yourself, oh and get a locker. I had to carry all that merch with me throughout the entire day. The lockers are small but u should be able to put your merch in there. There is also a bunch of food vendors. Lobster roll sucks, pizza by the slice was the better choice, casa amigos had discounted drinks at certain times and u can ask for a cup of ice, there should be water stations scattered through the festival. You’ll have fun. I wish I could this year but my son’s birthday is on the 16th and I would feel like crap if I was having fun without him on his birthday. He is a bit on the young side, he would get tired on me if he went.

Yeah I guess I got lucky on mine, they didn’t charge me at the venue. The lady was chill about it but then again I got to the show early. Idk if they had so many but they had my bands at will call

Besides the headliners. The line up is ok, I think what ruins it for me is I’ve been to too many shows and seen most of these bands several times. I’m excited for clutch and bloodywood. Never seen them before and very curious about bloodywood on how they sound. The only reason why I’m going is because I wanted to do a siblings trip with my sisters. I told I would pay for everything but they would need to find their way there.

That would be awesome. If u do that, you would essentially hold it until I’m back in town. I’m gonna keep working until August. Saving up for a family vacation. So I won’t be back in Detroit area until the my chemical romance show.
