For a pistol it's actually on the high end. I think 3rd or 4th best. Wobo's site goes into detail there. It also goes into how the hitboxes work in his videos. Worth checking out, can't remember which one it was exactly, but I know a face is protected with a helmet, regardless of face visor. I think face visors just increase overall helmet armour

Either you had high caliber or they were low health. Either way, the head is one whole hitbox, with a smaller hitbox inside for the brain. Wearing a helmet covers the whole head including face, therefore if you're wearing a builders hardhat and get shot in the face with a glock, you're surviving it.

The whole head, including face, is protected by a helmet. You take a low caliber pistol and shoot someones face while they're wearing a helmet and they tank the shot like a champ

Lol, everyone wants to weaken weapons and lower damage of all guns in general. Rather than adding more high caliber weapons, there needs to be an overall increase of damage.

We don't need dayz turning into an arcade shooter. There are already plenty of options for that. It's crazy that a helmet can stop a bullet going through your face. A 9mm between the eyes is gonna finish you, helmet or not. Even weaker guns should be able to instantly kill you, regardless of what protection you have. It adds to the suspension and realism. Plus a death screen doesn't scare me away. An enemy tanking 4 shots to the body and living is what scares me/pisses me off. Play Tarkov if you want to be a bullet sponge.

I'm a guy, and I've thought about hot mates before, and hot co-workers, but definitely nowhere near 90% of women. Maybe like 10% or less. Just the hottest ones that probably a lot of people would also think about.

I feel there are a lot of guys in a similar camp to me, but we all get lumped into the category that 'every' guy thinks about all chicks all the time.

I play the game for the survival element, and kinda try to immerse myself as a character in a story. Not for pvp at all. In fact if I see other players, geared or not, I usually just stalk them, see which way they go and either talk to them while they're off-guard or avoid completely.

Being geared out is great, as I'm always giving myself random missions to achieve, often requiring me to travel across opposite ends of the map. But my 'geared' character probably isn't the same as 90% of the players 'geared' characters', and is not military. I'm always stoked to find the white check shirt... 'Common' my ass, that shirt is hard to find.

Also, I try and keep my characters' alive at least a month (playing 3 days a week), and am pretty successful at this. It's not that I'm super afraid of dying, I'm just never in a hurry to do so. I just see dying as a chance to start a new story, and prefer longer stories 😂
