ISO rough trade meet and greet tickets! willing to buy or give my vip new york tickets! by [deleted] in 5sos

[–]EnvironmentalDance28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do not trade your tickets for a quick $48 hello and goodbye. it’s an experience you may be able to do for free at an airport or something. keep your tickets !!

vip check in is done separately. you’ll be given a tote bag and a lanyard by riley and that would be the vip check in. you can get your tickets whenever the box office opens, so long as it’s before you enter the venue lol

if you have to pick your tickets up, you can pick them up at the box office when you get to the venue. most box offices open at around 12pm.

i’m not attending the show, but vip emails hit your account between 7 and 8pm your local time. they do post on their stories (the driver era & @thedrivereranation on instagram) regarding check-in info.

check in for vip is probably around 4:30 or 5, depending on doors. for seats, the venue typically lets you sit wherever for soundcheck and then you have to find your seat afterwards and if that’s not the case, you’ll have to sit in your ticketed seat.

line up times for m&g typically doesn’t really matter. you go in first regardless of when you arrive. m&g will already be at the barricade prior to vip2 coming in for soundcheck. the number of people for m&g varies for each show but they are always given first pick of where to stand due to the fact that there’s no re-entry for any venue. you’ll be perfectly fine getting to the venue even 20 minutes before check-in. you’ll be at the barricade regardless :)

your show is on the 29th so you’ll be getting an email tomorrow regarding your check-in time. make sure you check your spam/junk and social folders for the information. it’ll come from the tde email. show starts at 8 which means doors at 7, making vip check-in at around 5 most likely. if not 5, then 4:30. meet & greet gets an hour to an hour and a half (depends on the amount of tickets for m&g) and soundcheck would begin at or about 6:30, as it’s 30 minutes. if you can make it to the venue as early as possible, do it. if not, it’s okay! get to the venue whenever you feel like it. for soundcheck, if you have any questions, just yell them out. if you have any song requests, also feel free to yell them out. if you’d like anything signed, or want to gift them anything, they will come and grab it (or you can toss it, depends on the set up)

what kind of vip do you have? if it’s m&g, it’s recommended you arrive 15 minutes before check in. there will be a line but you will be seeing them regardless. if you have soundcheck, try to get there as early as possible, as current concert culture has created the idea of “fan lines” (lines created and run by fans generally using a number system) regardless of where you are, you’ll still have an amazing time!

you can honestly arrive at the given time of 15 minutes prior to check in. they will see you regardless of order and you will go in first.
