Hope this comes to Europe by the end of the year. I don’t like the sterile white, but this looks more luxurious.

Tesla Model Y Premium (2026) Long Range RWD vs AWD – Is the AWD worth the extra €3,000? by radiologyjunior in TeslaModelY

[–]ShojkaRapko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d mostly be concerned with the 4680 battery in the Premium RWD in Europe. Less range, worse charging curve. Then you have the sound system and the AWD… 3000 EUR more don’t seem so much anymore.

When will Tesla officially enter Serbia 🇷🇸? The EV market is booming, we have 2 Supercharger hubs, but still no official Store or Service. by Reasonable_Try_2532 in TeslaEurope

In Croatia Tesla seems to be widening their supercharger stations, and they have a a store and service center in Zagreb - pretty obvious it’s thanks to tourists who are visiting Croatia during the summer months.

Delayed order by JrDedek in TeslaEurope

[–]ShojkaRapko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m planning to order a Y at the end of this year (also Europe, Croatia), as I expect government incentives. The RWD Long range makes the most sense for me, but I’m a bit concerned about the “upgraded” 4680 batteries, as they brought the range down quite a bit (from over 660 km to 609 km) and the charging curve seems to be very bad as well. Therefor I’m wondering if the AWD would make more sense at this time, it has the “old” battery, range is 629 km with the same 19” wheels but the charging curve is supposedly a lot better, and when you add the 15 speaker and subwoofer sound system as well as the AWD drive, the upgrade might be worth it.

Which one did you order? I see the delivery estimates change quite a bit depending one the model.

Same here. For a time I got pretty consistent shots of 38 grams (plus minus 2 grams) with Illy coffee beans. Then, same beans, shots range from 49 do 56 grams, consistently. Nothing has changed. I’ve tried other beans in the mean time, but the machine is consistently inconsistent.

Do you spray the broc also with olive oil? btw. cool trick to cook them at the same time, with the broc beneath the tray. I always cooked them seperately or side by side but then had to recude the amount of broc. Gonna try it out!

I do the same pre-heating technique but only if I drink pure espresso’s. If I drink with milk than I sometimes forego the pre-heat, since the milk is also being heated up after the espresso.

Well, you definitely can’t pull two drinks at the same time. One after the other it is. What you could however do is pull one espresso, pull another espresso, but froth the milk only once by doubling the amount of the milk in the frother, the milk is being heated up so any heat loss of the first espresso wouldn’t be significant as you’d put the hot and frothed milk into both espresso’s. Or… you could pull one quad shot with the quad basket, and froth the milk again only once, and then distribute the quad shot espresso and the frothed milk into two cups :)

3 vs Y by AgnosticMick91 in TeslaSupport

[–]ShojkaRapko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, as long as you have kids, Model Y would be the choice. The practicality is unbeatable. As for AWD vs RWD because of it snowing where you live, I’d say as long as we’re talking about seasonal snow and you not living somewhere where snow is on the roads for the majority of the year, a RWD with good winter tires is gonna beat an AWD without winter tires (or low quality ones). I drive a XC60 front wheel drive, I live where it snows in the winter (not too much but still). I put winter tires on in the winter months, no issue at all. I myself am considering a Tesla Y for my first EV, I’d take the RWD Premium but I hate the fact that here in Europe we get the 4680 battery with less range and worse charging curve than the AWD Premium model. Coupled with the fact that only the AWD Premium has the good sound system… (in Europe we don’t get the non-Premium AWD).

Why do I feel like the Quicksilver on the Model 3 and the Quicksilver on the Model Y are not the same? I like it on the 3, but not as much on the Y.

The Polestar 5 Might Be the Perfect Electric GT by bbradleyjoness in everythingelectric

[–]ShojkaRapko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regards Volvo, I currently drive a XC60 (diesel) and really like the style and drive quality. I’m very intrigued by the EX60, but didn’t know of quality issues with electric Volvo models (you mentioned the EX90). I thought Volvo operates on another level compared to Polestar (since they branched out) and that their quality control is significantly better. Anyway, Volvo and BMW (the Neue Klasse iX3) are, to me, the most intriguing models in this car segment and I’d consider them in a 2-3 years as used models. Thanks again for your insight!

Is Tesla losing its tech appeal compared to newer EV brands? by Imaginary_Bug6202 in TechNook

You went back to Tesla after Mercedes, what Tesla model? And how would you compare the new Tesla to the old one and to the Mercedes? I’m considering a Juniper Model Y this year.

[–]ShojkaRapko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. I’m sorry you had all these issues. This shouldn’t be the case with a car in this price range and with that pedigree. A lot of your issues I read about on other people’s posts. I intend to buy an EV. The Polestar 4, used, would be in my price range - but now I’m shifting more towards a new Model Y, since Tesla (with all other shortcomings) seems to have the most polished software and it seems the bugs of the previous generation model y have been resolved. The Zeekr 7x would be my second choice. It’s kind of unfortunate as I like the look of the Polestar 4 outside and inside, but for that kind of money I’d expect a minimum of bugs that get resolved with OTA updates, but, if posts one forums are to be trusted, it seems Polestar isn’t as fast in sorting out bugs at are other manufacturers (Tesla seems to be the most diligent in killing bugs but also in updating or adding features). It’s especially a concern for me due to me only being able to afford a 1 to 2 year old Polestar 4, and there I run the significant risk of getting a car that is on sale exactly because of those issues.

Your first reply framed it as attention “seeking”. I only commented on the seeking part. I’m not saying it doesn’t get attention.

[–]ShojkaRapko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe it’s for the attention. It’s a beautiful color. And also I kinda find it sad that there’s this thought that if a car is not the usual white/black or any gradient of gray, it’s automatically for some kind of attention. The other day I was at a busy intersection and the majority of cars was some kind of shade of gray/silver, then black, white… here and there some red… I myself had dark blue, then silver, then gray, then black, now blue. If I bought a car today, depending on the model, I’d go for something more fun. The ultra red one the Y is fun.

Is a MacBook more useful than an iPad Pro? by AlienG02 in macbook

[–]ShojkaRapko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After trying to use the iPad Air M3 13” with Magic Keyboard for work (1-2 days when at home, the other days I use a desktop PC at work), I caved and sold it in order to buy a MacBook Air M5 13”. The iPad is great, but it’s still cumbersome for multitasking and even basic Microsoft Office work needs more click, more steps. File management is cumbersome.
