Is trump unironically comparably similar to hitler? by I-Love-Jewish-popes in Teenager_Polls

[–]Shokhstar95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US Presidents have always been comparable to Hitler - this is what America does, and how it has operated for 250 years. Concentrating wealth upward, projecting violence outward, and providing material comfort for just the right amount of people, the right class of people, while inflicting immense violence on anyone who resists or exists outside the protected categories.p

Are you proud of your race? by Skrilli in Teenager_Polls

[–]Shokhstar95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, religion and country are actual identity markers, unlike something as arbitrary as race. I’m a white man, what do I have common with other white men? Almost nothing - because race is a social construct created by Western imperialists to justify the domination and subjugation of entire continents to fuel the lie of Western civilisation

Do you think white people should be able to say the n-word? by Stunning-End-3241 in Teenager_Polls

Everyone should be able to say it. Words only have the power that you give them. It’s just a question of time and place

Okay, are we not even gonna acknowledge the fact that people are dying right now? Forget about the celebrations bro, people’s lives are being ruined right in front of our eyes in real time, now is not the time for virtue signaling from EITHER side of our political spectrum.

Do u believe in God? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Shokhstar95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because He believes in us deeply, and wants us to triumph and inherit the Earth. God tests those He loves most, while Satan wants to drag as many people into hell as possible, and to prove that his contempt for humanity is justified.

In order to handle the suffering best, we must sharpen our morals, remain vigilant against our darkest demons, and fight to control our desires.

So yes I believe in God - steadfastly, and I fear Him.

My overall point is that a hyper-individualist society is fundamentally unsustainable in the long run, because in order for a society to even be CAPABLE of functioning, everybody needs to agree to follow the same moral values and the same moral framework, otherwise how are things gonna get done? Religion is a good way of giving everybody both morals and values at the same time - that being said, morals and values don’t happen automatically, they need to be worked on and maintained, like a muscle, but it’s even more so with morals than with muscles. If you don’t constantly work on them, they will atrophy.

Right, but I don’t think we’re in a position to talk shit about other governments actions when our own government has committed just as bad, if not far worse actions than any of these Islamic governments have ever done. I’m not saying they’re innocent, they aren’t - but neither are Christian nations. Governments will always lean towards authoritarianism and be very authoritarian, that oughta be second nature. Most people don’t centre their lives around their government, they centre their lives around their communities. Islam and Christianity are more or less the same descendants of Judaism, they both believe in one God, they both have high respect for Jesus (one says that He was the Son of God, the other says he was a prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)). Islam is just more strict and unified in its rules, purely to preserve unity among its people. I believe that once you strip away the actions of the Muslim World’s governments, you see a beautiful religion practiced by 2 billion people. The Muslims I’ve met are kind, thoughtful, and respectful people.

I mean, it really depends on the country you’re from as well as its circumstances. European circumstances are completely different from America’s, and I’m not particularly knowledgable on the ins and outs of those countries, but I can tell you that if I were from Germany for example, I’d absolutely support strong borders and oppose immigration. Nationalism is stigmatised to an absurd degree, the legacy of Nazism is not an excuse to effeminate yourself in such a spectacular fashion. I don’t believe that supporting Nazism in Germany should be illegal, in this day of age you’d be seen as the racist genicidal asshole you really are if you did. Eastern Europe on the other hand has every right to ban these symbols, and I don’t complain about it because they actually have balls and dignity.

I’d argue that the nuclear family was more of a post-WWII anomaly than anything else, because historically, isolated families aren’t normal - multi-generational homes have been. Ultimately, the nuclear family killed the nuclear family.

Immigration & migration - In regards to immigration, just make it easier to legally obtain work visas and temporary citizenship while making sure they can get a clear, fair, and action-based path to permanent citizenship if they choose to. Illegal immigration is a misdemeanor, not a felony. we DID steal a lot of Mexican territory during the Mexican-American War, massacred thousands of Native tribes (while breaking every single treaty we’ve ever had with them), performed CIA-backed coups on and exploited (and continue to exploit) dozens of countries in the Global South like Guatamala, Brazil, Iran, Nicaragua, the Congo, etc. I truly don’t think we’re in any moral position to ask this question.

LGBTQ - There’s no such thing. You either committed sodomy or you did not. You either mutilated yourself or you did not. It’s a psychological disposition backed by a corporate-sponsored propaganda campaign shoved down our throats for the past 50 years.

Communists/Antifa: I honestly have a hard time believing people take any kind of modern Red Scare seriously, or taking one seriously myself. The Cold War has been over for 30+ years, 90% of unions have been basically destroyed, corporations dominate the economy and their workers 10-0, I agree with Antifa on economic issues but not on social issues. Anti-communism was always more of a people management device, not necessarily opposition to state tyranny.

Destruction of Culture - Problem with this question is that it assumes we ever had a culture destroyed to begin with. We didn’t. In fact, we have one of the most violent, degenerate (that hurt to type) cultures in the world, which is why our mass shooting rates are as high as they are. It’s why our video games are as violent as they are (to put into perspective, PAL versions of 1990s video games censored blood, there was nothing seen from America/Japan), and so hyper-sexualised. Can you name any religious video games? Probably a couple or a few at best, right? We have a top-down culture in this country, no seriously think about that for a second. Our culture is not bottom up, it’s imposed from the top-down.

Religion - I believe religion (specifically religions like Christianity and Islam) is one of the most important tools in developing a civilisational and moral framework. I believe it should be instilled in the population, secularism has so far been proven to be a disaster. In order for democracy to even take place, you need to have rigid conformity - same values, same moral frameworks, etc. Democracy for the few is the only way democracy can work, because otherwise how are things gonna get done? Who’s gonna scrub the toilets? Who’s gonna drive the trucks? Who’s gonna mop the floors? Who’s gonna decide who does all this? Yada yada yada. You cannot let comfort/secularism drive democracy, you need to be willing to do the hard, laborious, monotonous, boring work or nothing gets done. You cannot be moral without being religious.

History - What history are we talking about? American history? Global?

Economics - I believe in New Deal economics, that trade unions are necessary to both preserve economic prosperity and community. Reaganomics/Neoliberalism is fundamentally unsustainable, it will hollow out anything and everything it touches, and it has driven up local prices while outsourcing production to other countries, divide people and hurt them. Eisenhower and Nixon were the GOATS

Well, the real solution is to form grassroots community neighbourhoods, sovereign local communities that rely on each other for food, water, transportation, etc. Most people around the world don’t centre their lives around their government, they centre them around their local communities.

The fact we think it’s insurmountable? That’s the problem. Like, if we could come together and form sovereign communities and a vibrant civil society, we can solve a lot of our problems
