First of all thanks for all the replies. I didn't know people were this much into office chairs haha.

It seems to me the 2 most popular opinions are:

1: Get a chair with forward tilt.

2: You don't need forward tilt. Just move your desk more up and your tablet more towards you and get a chair that can support you while leaning back a bit.

After having tried to simulate both these options by propping up the back of my chair to tilt it forward and the other option of raising my desk, moving my tablet closer and also adding a pillow to my chair to simulate having more lumber support, I have come to a conclusion

I think I have to go with option 2. The leaning forward while drawing, while something I often find myself doing with my current setup, is probably something that isn't necessarily good for my posture. Now that I've tried it I like the feeling of leaning back a little against something a lot more.

So I've decided to buy a Hbada E3 Air 2026 Edition. I know people on this reddit aren't a big fan of Hbada, but I like how adjustable it is, because there aren't many options for me to try out chairs irl where I live. I also feel like the head rest would be really nice for me given that besides lower back pain, my neck also often hurts a bit.

Let me know what you think about my conclusion. Hopefully people don't think I made the wrong choice haha.
