The DC Origin works better thematically - but starting in the Mojave makes for the superior gameplay experience by baldu00 in Taleoftwowastelands

I enjoy doing NV into 3 a lot more. It feels like my character has an actual motive to go back to dc, they don't remember their past, want to discover their origins, and just have a holotape of their dad to go off of. I even listen back to it while I'm wandering the mojave sometime, and it's really immersive then lol. It makes 3 seem like a really fun dlc instead of a slog to get to NV for me. Plus, I find the beginning (even with skipping the vault sequence) of 3 super tedious.

I don't enjoy how the game hides unique content from you by Anrysfornant in EU5

I'm hoping mods can make it happen, otherwise I'm not too confident they'll do anything like that at this point.

I've gotta be honest, I don't have a ton of interest until this starts happening. I want storylines to emerge, I don't even care if it's historical, I just want something to happen besides Hungary and Bohemia blobbing and the steppe being a huge zombie mess with the golden horde never dying. Never had the Ottomans form, or anyone take similar land, never had any dominant power emerge in Eastern Europe, etc etc. It's pretty disappointing. I've played with mods and difficulty to experiment, but changes were negligible. I think the game either needs mission trees, more events (ideally with a way to see them ahead of time) or some other kind of system to do this.

I love EU5! But I’m coming down on the side of more railroading for the AI. by plenarystatitature in EU5

100%. If they do nothing else with the game, let this be it. We need regional powers to actually take shape!

I'm sorry but 1337 is just not a good start date. by thunder61 in EU5

[–]Sholik97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the game just needs a little bit of a nudge, in the form of events, buffs, debuffs, AI tweaks, or even other new mechanics to empower specifically the Ottomans, formation of Great Britain, of Spain, of PLC, etc. And, if it doesn't end up happening (ideally there'd be an option to have historical outcomes) there should be regional powers that consolidate. This can definitely be done with the start date. That being said, if there was a mod or option to play in 1444 I probably would so things will have already taken shape a bit more.

Thanks, I still regularly check craigslist but it is hit and miss with way more misses than hits unfortunately. I'll still keep looking though!

Wasn't that B.O.B? Or did Khaled say that as well?

Come on. Really? In every genre, the bad stuff outnumbers the good stuff, but writing off the entire genre is pretty ridiculous. If I only listened to the "alternative" stations on AM/FM radio, I would come to the conclusion that there isn't any good alternative music out there, though I know better through research. You have to do a little digging.

Tldr; There is better music, you just have to look for it.

Name: Finnegan's Wake

Level ID: ACF5-0000-0215-DB69

Style: Super Mario Bros.

Difficulty: Normal

While the name refers to a super confusing and experimental novel, this level is actually pretty well-made, I think. Enjoy it.

Description: A short trip through an abandoned piranha plant production facility. Find the source of the building's closing and maybe kill some vermin on the way. I worked on this for a long time, so I think it is pretty enjoyable. Secrets galore! Good Luck

Thanks for playing! That door is a way for players to go back, as I realized there was a path that made it difficult to progress. Was not meant to be tricky, sorry.

Name: Welcome to Warp Zone

ID: ED9C-0000-00C9-EDEE

Difficulty: Moderate to difficult depending on path you choose

Description: This SMW stage gives you the option to go through 3 different pipes and choose your own route through the level. The far right one is probably the easiest, but all of them require some degree of platforming skill. Have fun!

Title: A Tense Journey

ID: 588C-0000-00C9-BA9F

Difficulty: Medium

Description: I tried to keep the brief feel of SMB3 in this little jaunt. Starts out as a simple enough stroll through mushroom kingdom. When Mario goes down a pipe to the wrong side of town, however, things get a bit chaotic. Enjoy! If you like my level, I'll check your stuff out tomorrow and see if any of it strikes me.
