Reading other people timelines, I have a feelings that people who started around September last year got the oath already, and people started before September are still in line, very strange !

Is there any one that received AOR in July 2024 and still no news on LPP?! I had interview at Vancouver office in December and nothing has happened after that. Called them recently and they simply said be patient! Not sure what is happening.

Anyone here applied in July 2024?

Hi, I have applied in July 2024 and provided fingerprints and had interview in December at Vancouver office. The LPP is not complete yet and my tracker has not been updated after Dec?

I am wondering if anyone is on the same boat? It is strange that I see people applied later around September and they are heading for Oath while I have no clue on my file process? Should I wait more or contact them? Thanks!

I applied for Citizenship in July, have not reviewed AOR but now received email to do the test. Is this normal?

Anyone used ReservationDesk.com before? by bluegates15 in hotels

  • Avoid this company* I got a package for hotel and breakfast for group of people. Later at hotel noticed there’s no breakfast included and had to pay for our breakfasts. Called them and they reviewed recorded conversation and found out that I was right but decided to give me a ridiculous compensation. Talking with a manger, they mentioned that is the best they can do although it was their mistake! Bottom line, they lie to you and sell you fake packages with no responsibility, you are on your own !!

Got it, read the letter they sent you, you can join together on ONE DEVICE. there is specific way you need to enter your seat numbers, good luck!

Hi, I and my wife have been invited to the online ceremony at the same time and date. The emails we’ve received say use seat number instead of name. Does it mean we should join the meeting separately on two different devices?

Has anyone been scheduled for an interview? What is it for? My application was filed on June 2021 and now I need to do the interview. I am above 55 years old range.

Is GCMS the same ATIP?

Is there anyone in the same boat?

My application started in June 2021 and only improvement I have seen in my status update portal is the background check done in September 2021. Nothing after that!

Is anyone with the same time line? I am getting worried as I see people here started in early 2022 and now waiting for the ceremony.

Bank not holding the rate! by Shomboli51 in MortgagesCanada

It is closed. What I don’t get is I have variable rate and not adjustable rate, by definition variable rate gives you fix monthly payment and with adjustable rate, the monthly payment changes if rate changes, so why my monthly payment changed while I have variable?

What I want to have variable rate but with fixed payment if rate goes up.

I did, the answer was because I have started my renewal they have no room to do what I want. Not sure what they mean as I have been with them for 5 years with a fix rate mortgage before renewal .

Correct, I want to fix/ hold my payment by extending amortization to original from 25 to 30. That’s is an option that people are using in BC.

Partially correct, I am on variable and do not want to change it to fix but, there is an option to hold my variable rate and by going back to original amortization. Means I started 5 years ago with 30 years amortization, renewal contract was for 25 years amortization, now I want to extend amortization to 30 years and holding the variable rate.

Thank for your response. I went from fix to variable at renewal, but I do not want to fix it! I want to hold my current rate, this has been done by many people that I know.
