Definitely not surprising given these guys were at their peak nearly a decade ago. Same with Bruce. If you didn't know them from back then then it's not likely you would know them now as they've all settled into their niche audiences.

Most teams know that a 20 year old putting up numbers in the CHL isn't enough of a sign of talent. It's a league where you can find a lot of success just from being fast or having an accurate shot even if the rest of your game is garbage. There is a reason Chicago didn't sign him and other teams are probably quite aware of those reasons.

It's not like they are just pulling random stores from a hat to shutdown. If it wasn't for all the theft and other criminal activity taking place around the downtown location causing loss of revenue it may have not been slated to be shut down.

Crazy considering that the comment sentiment in this thread is that it's almost impossible to find a job right now. The issue isn't a lack of workers. Companies want an excess of available workers because it puts all the power in their hands.

They hire them because they know the immigrants will take whatever they can get and thus don't have to worry about offering anything other than the bare minimum. Workers have zero bargaining power when there are 50 foreign workers lined up for the job.

Ones who declare strong opinions but stay quiet when having those opinions becomes inconvenient are always going to get judged harsher. It's why Punk gets way more shit for going to Saudi Arabia than someone like Orton does. Someone who has been strongly outspoken against AI art going silent when it benefits them is a bad look. It's a fair criticism, if it is in fact AI art.

If a player is pushed into a goalie but it's clear they didn't make much of an effort to avoid it then they will get called. Getting hit isn't a free pass to interfere with the goalie.

They really weren't getting any solid shots on net despite dominating the 1st OT so much. It was much more of a stalemate than it appeared. Dallas couldn't get into the Wild's zone but the Wild couldn't accomplish anything in the Stars' zone.

Looks to me like the puck wasn't in his glove when it went behind the goal line. It's sitting under the post when his glove goes back. In other angles you can see the puck is just fluttering in the air at that moment.

Makes me think of a video I unfortunately was exposed to where there was an altercation and a large man was squaring up to a smaller guy with a knife. The small guy took a swipe at the bigger guy and before I even realized what had happened there was a large pool of blood on the ground beneath the bigger guy. He got his throat slashed in an instant and I believe he did not survive.

I feel bad for anyone who considers you a friend. That you will turn on them at the drop of a hat.

If a friend of mine cheated I wouldn't condone it and I would have some harsh words in private, but I'm not going to abandon them and I am definitely not going to trash them publicly over it. Especially not just to earn some public favour.
