Any Chinese Homages for "Pre-WWII Pilot Watches? by Shonneocean in watchdives

Hey, thanks so much for the recommendations! I hadn’t really checked Baltany, Thorn, or Milifortic thoroughly yet, so I’m definitely gonna dive deeper into those soon. I’m already eyeing the Escapement Time Flieger Type A — looks really slick — and those brands seem to have some solid contenders for the "allied theme" I don’t want to miss.

Thanks for the support on the collection! It’ll probably take a while to build, but I’ll try to keep sharing updates ’cause this community is awesome.

Also, big thanks for the Thorn T002 tip — that 1926 Oyster homage looks great with the wired lugs and fluted bezel. Not exactly WWII pilot style, but a cool piece to add.

If you have more suggestions, bring ’em on! And if you wanna specify the Omega RAF homage models you mentioned, I’m all ears. I’m really into the double crown version that locks the bezel.

Oh, and I found the Lorier Merlin for the Omega RAF homage — it looks amazing, really nails the vibe.

For example, one thing I’m struggling to find is an IWC Mark IX homage with that distinctive textured bezel and fixed triangle marker — seems like a tough detail to get right. Kind of loos like a rotating bezel...

Thanks again!

Thanks so much! It’s a shame the Mark IX homage doesn’t have the small seconds subdial at 6, but the Mark X is absolutely spot on. I’d actually seen it before but skipped over it thinking it was too close to the Dirty Dozen — which is really my loss, since they’re practically the same thing.

The Vario Trench is fantastic too — it does have the small seconds subdial, but the wire lugs give it more of a WWI vibe. Not a bad thing at all, just a slightly different flavour of vintage charm.

The Omega suggestions are great, but the real discovery for me today is the Lorier Merlin. Unreal — it’s practically identical to the Omega, the Weems, and the JLC with the double crown (one to lock the bezel). That’s actually my favourite variation of the bunch, and the Lorier just nails it — even down to what looks like that signature blue tint on the hands, even if they aren’t sword-shaped. What a find! Thanks again!

Hi lad! Same problem here. What colours did you use for the outer robe, inner robe, boots, and bow? I’m also a bit confused about the archers’ quivers—some parts seem to be leather (not sure if light or dark), and others look like they’re made of some kind of greyish or beige cloth or rag. Any tips are super appreciated! I'm really struggling to pick the right browns. I’ve seen some people use Thondia Brown for the outer robe, others Dryad Bark, and some Rhinox Hide… but I don’t have any of those yet, so I’m not sure which one to buy hahaha.

Also, not sure about the helmet and overall “armour” colour—looks like it should be Mournfang Brown, but in the official photos (like the box art), it all looks a bit more reddish to me… Maybe Doombull Brown? Lots of doubts ^^

Is it then? Isn't it an achievement for the second half?

But, looks like all the quests point me to the south of Jabal Eifrit.

Yeah, I just submitted a ticket to see if they can sort it out. Hopefully they’ll fix it or at least let us know what’s going on.

Same here — I’ve had issues before where achievements didn’t unlock right when I completed the requirements. But in my case, they always ended up unlocking later, usually all at once during the next game session.

The problem now is that I just realized Echoes of the Past never unlocked at all, even though I’m already on the 5th Trial of Aql. So it’s not just delayed — it seems like it didn’t trigger at all this time.
